Static Caravans for Sale in Northumberland

It’s quiet up in Northumberland. You might hear the caw of the gulls and a gentle plop of a golf ball in the distance. But that’s about it. This is a very beautiful part of the UK – and we’re lucky enough to have two holiday parks here with a range of new and used static caravans for sale. You’ll have vast stretches of coastline all to yourself. This will give you time to take in the rugged cliffs and sandy beaches. The ruined castles and Roman remnants. You’ll spot sea birds you’ve never seen before and magical islands far out to sea.

But what to do first? Well, no trip to Northumberland is complete without visiting a castle or three. Bamburgh Castle and Berwick Barracks are both in stunning positions. Or you might want to head over to the castle on the island of Lindesfarne. Take your binoculars with you and try to spot some of the hundreds of migratory birds that come here every summer. And don’t forget to spend some time searching for shells on the beach.

Our video guide to Northumberland

Helen our Social Media Content Manager has found some of the best sites in Northumberland during her 48 hours trip.

Join Helen on her journey to discover some beautiful gardens, watch her pull the perfect pint at the world famous Dirty Bottles pub and head out to sea to spot some seals on a boat trip.

Lots of fun for everyone

We wouldn’t blame you if you never left the seashore. But if you do fancy an outing, we have some great sightseeing suggestions.

  • Alnwick Castle – Harry Potter was filmed here
  • Tree house and an intriguing poison garden
  • Hadrian’s Wall
  • Kielder Water

Just make sure you leave some time to explore the lovely stone villages nearby.

But if you prefer to stay put, that’s fine too. Our parks are in some of the region’s prettiest spots. At Berwick, you’ll find stunning sea views. At Haggerston, you can gaze at glittering lakes and a castle tower. With swimming pools and a choice of facilities and activities inside our park, you can spend day after happy day without going anywhere at all.

If you do decide to buy your own static caravan in Northumberland you’ll be able to do as much – or as little – exploring as you choose. And, you won’t need to hurry. There’s always next time.
