UK fishing holidays with Haven
Fishing holidays are a great chance to connect with nature and challenge yourself at an activity that's been popular through the ages. Our Haven holiday parks across the UK have a range of coarse, freshwater, and specimen fishing available to get stuck into, with a number of lakes across the sites. Whether you've been fishing for years or are just starting out, our lakes are calling your name.
Coarse fishing at Haven
Seven of our eight parks with lakes are for coarse or freshwater fishing, where you can catch plenty of bream, carp, perch and roach as well as other species. Kent Coast, Golden Sands, Primrose Valley and Thornwick Bay are catch and release, with the rest of the parks allowing you to net your fish which you could weigh at the end of the day. Take a look at our image gallery to see how many swims each lake has and what specific fish you'll be hoping to catch.
Specimen fishing at Orchards
It's exciting to fish at Orchards near Clacton-on-Sea in Essex! You'll be fishing for carp and crucian carp with individual fish weighing a whopping 30 pounds. As the fish are large here the park ask you to use a large landing mat and net. Bream, perch, roach, rudd and tench can also be caught and will contribute to good net weights. There's 17 swims on the lake and the fishing is varied with a choice of tree and shrub lined areas.
