We stayed in Combe Haven at the beginning of July, for 7nights. Location fantastic. We rented the dog friendly caravan, with additional toilet and 3 bedrooms in quiet location. The caravan was great, had everything we needed. Caravan was clean, however the carpets in the bedroom stunk of the dirty dog and urine. We liked the caravan and location so we didn't report it and after few days we got used to it. Our 2 Yr old loved the entertainment and activities. Swimming pool is a great options, but there is a lot of seagulls and occasional poop in the pool which was making water dirty. We enjoyed the pub and food options however there should be more salads available, we felt everything was fried and no healthy options available.

Had an excellent week with my two young children. Firstly I worried about accommodation upon arrival as we'd had horrific experience with park dean. But it was brilliant. Clean, tidy and spacious. Cleaned by josie she done an excellent job. Service in the mash and barrel was excellent have to mention james who saved my daughters teddy! Pricey for what you get though. Entertainment wouldnt have been the same without daisy. Hands down the best entertainer at the park, brilliant with kids. Asking my kids what their favourite part about the holiday was they replied 'sea side squad!' I would highly recommend this to everyone with kids of any age! Thank you!

I’d certainly recommend as a company, perhaps not necessarily that park specifically. In terms of the company, the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Everyone had a smile on their face and were happy to help. The facilities in this park were OK. The food in the restaurant was nice enough although there were some issues with the app and the Sunday roasts. In terms of the park - I was not aware of exactly how hilly this place would be, and it would seem a lot of guests felt the same. As one of the party was a wheelchair user it was impossible to walk around the park and we resorted to driving up from our caravan to the main facilities each day. There was plenty of parking dotted around but I think we got lucky with it not being jam packed. Our van had an infestation of ants coming in via a little hole near the radiator. The team were quick to try and help but all they were allowed to do was spray the outside vents (and hover up all the dead ants) however that made little difference. We ended up covering the hole with selotape to stop their route into the van. When we arrived (4-5pm) at 4:50 the cleaner was still midway through the clean. Unfortunately we were not in a position to wait another 15 mins to get in as my son is autistic and wanted to get inside. We had one bed with dirty / spot mould on the bedding and then there were three others that had no sheets on them at all. The bed in the double had a huge dip in the end of the mattress that I had to fill with pillows so my feet didn’t sink into it every night. We booked onto activities and three out of the four were then cancelled when we arrived to the MUGA because we were the only attendees / low attendance. This was difficult (autistic child as mentioned) and we had to do a lot of redirecting to help him understand. You should state if there is a minimum number required and you should cancel before people turn up. One of the staff, Harry, who we did football dartboard with, was particularly fantastic and made that activity really fun and engaging. The parks are OK, but sand or bark flooring on them makes is impossible for disabled guests and apart from two basket swings there is nothing accessible to play on. They are also not wheelchair accessible in terms of steps / ramps which was a shame. The pool is OK, but dirty and outdated and the changing rooms are disgustingly dirty. There was wee all over the floor and when mentioned to the staff they simply locked the door to the changing room instead of cleaning up, or used the floor sweeper to try and dry it, but in fact just ended up smearing the wee everywhere. Process of getting in / out was good and stopped bottlenecks. Didn’t see the ice cream van open once in our stay. Shop was well stocked and staff friendly. Take away restaurants were quick and efficient. We used the collection service, and that was fine - can’t comment on the delivery.

Just got back after a 7 night stay, we had a gold plus caravan in the sea view village part of the park. Couldn't fault the stay at all. Myself my partner and 4 children aged 6-16 stayed and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Site was clean and tidy, caravan was lovely and clean and had a little park right outside which saw a lot of activity from our children and others. Pool was nice and the arcade saw visits every night. Shop was always stocked and staff on site were a joy. Would definitely come back even possibly this year kn August.

We recently stayed at Combe Haven Holiday Park for my daughter’s first caravan holiday and overall had a really lovely weekend away. From arrival, everybody was pleasant, polite and helpful. Both my parents and I had originally booked two-bedroom gold caravans, however my parents were unexpectedly upgraded to a beautiful three-bedroom caravan, which we think may have been a diamond caravan. It was absolutely lovely and such a nice surprise for them. We stayed in Sea View Village and had a beautiful view. The area was nice and quiet, which suited us perfectly. Yes, the park is hilly, but where we stayed it honestly wasn’t too bad at all, and my parents were only around a four-minute walk from us. The amenities were clean and well kept, and staff around the park were always friendly and approachable. There was quite a lot to do around the site and we enjoyed exploring and making our own fun. The only thing I would personally say is that there could perhaps be a few more activities aimed at under twos. A lot of the payable activities were for ages two plus, and with older children around, there wasn’t loads specifically for my little one. That said, that’s no fault of Haven or the guests attending — it’s just how it is sometimes. Thankfully she still had a brilliant time enjoying the sand pits, the arcade, swimming and exploring the park. Overall though, we genuinely had a lovely stay and made some really special memories. Thank you for a wonderful weekend away for my daughter’s first caravan holiday ❤️
