Lydstep Haven is a beautiful beach consisting of sand and pebbles, backed by impressive wooded cliffs at either end. At the north end of the beach there is a small sandy area exposed at low tide. South Beach is a long sandy beach with dunes running its length. There are less crowds as you walk further south along the beach. At low tide the northern end joins up with Castle Beach. Popular for swimming; windsurfing; sailing; canoeing and power boating take place on South Beach which is zoned for such sports.
