
What’s on in South Wales 2026
From food festivals to regattas, there’s always plenty to do amidst the stunning South Wales scenery.
Here’s our pick of some of the highlights of 2026, all within a short drive from Haven’s Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach, Penally Court, and Quay West holiday parks.
March
Tenby Steampunk Festival
When: 20–22 March 2026
Where: De Valence Pavilion and venues around Tenby, SA70 7JD
Nearest parks: Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach and Penally Court (Less than three miles from park, about 10-minute drive)
Tenby goes into full imagination mode for a weekend of wild outfits, crazy music, and creativity. It’s a friendly, Insta-friendly festival spread all over Tenby. Grab a coffee and dip into the Emporium, enjoy live acts, watch films, and look out for surprises dotted around town.
Kids love the costumes and parades, and there’s always the nearby beaches for a breather between sessions. From Victorian time machines to the paranormal, you won’t have seen anything quite like it.
April

Barley Saturday, Cardigan
When: 25 April 2026
Where: Cardigan town centre, SA43
Nearest park: Quay West (20 miles from park, 30-minute drive)
Cardigan’s famous horse parade fills the streets with beautiful cobs, vintage tractors, and lots of local colour. It’s a proper slice of Welsh tradition dating back to the 19th century, and the town is just a short drive from Quay West. Arrive late morning for lunch in town, grab a spot on the High Street and enjoy the spectacle as horses and bands parade by. As well as the celebrated steeds, look out for vintage motorbikes and cars, carriages and gypsy wagons. As a slice of tradition and a celebration of agricultural pride, it’s well worth a visit.

Fishguard Folk Festival
When: 22–25 May 2026
Where: Theatr Gwaun and venues across Fishguard, SA65 9AD
Nearest parks: Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach, Penally Court, and Quay West (About 35 miles from park, approximately one-hour drive)
A friendly, mostly free folk festival by the sea with concerts, sessions, workshops and plenty of pub tunes. It’s a simple hop from our Tenby parks, and it suits all ages. Drop into a daytime workshop or catch an early evening concert. The town is compact and walkable, so pushing a buggy is easy, and there’s something for all ages. Look out for the family events on the programme when it’s announced.

Long Course Weekend, Wales
When: 26–28 June 2026
Where: Tenby and around Pembrokeshire (starts/finishes in Tenby, SA70)
Nearest parks: Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach and Penally Court (Less than three miles from park, about 10-minute drive)
Tenby buzzes for three days as swimmers, cyclists and runners take on Wales’s best multi-sport weekend. Even if you’re not racing, it’s amazing to watch the competitors swim, cycle and run for all they’re worth. From Kiln Park, Penally Court or Lydstep Beach, it’s a short stroll to the action. Saturday’s big bike sportive and Sunday’s marathon bring huge crowds, so get there early to grab lunch and enjoy the atmosphere. It’s prime Pembrokeshire energy right on your doorstep.

New Quay Music Festival
When: 31 July–2 August 2026
Where: New Quay, SA45
Nearest park: Quay West (less than a mile from park, two-minute walk)
Now in its 28th year, this is a friendly seaside music weekender with live bands each night and a laid-back village feel. The festival is an easy walk from Quay West park, so you can catch a show and wander back along the clifftop path to your caravan. Spend the daytimes on the beach, rock-pooling and enjoying ice creams on the harbour wall, then it’s music time. Bring something warm to wear to enjoy those spectacular Ceredigion sunsets.

Cardigan Bay Regatta
When: Mid-August 2026, expected 17–19 Aug (TBC)
Where: Cei Newydd, New Quay, SA46 0JP
Nearest park: Quay West (6 miles from park, 15-minute drive)
2026 will see the 150th annual Cardigan Bay Regatta take place, a must-see. A three-day event with sailing races, fun shore events and kids’ competitions on the sands, the Regatta is perfectly situated for Quay West. Walk down to the harbour and dip in and out as you like. Pack beach games and a picnic, cheer the boats, then treat the gang to fish and chips by the sea. It’s a great way to spend a summer’s day and discover New Quay’s vibrant sailing scene.

Narberth Food Festival
When: Late September 2026 (TBC)
Where: Town Moor, Narberth, SA67 7BN
Nearest parks: Kiln Park, Lydstep Beach and Penally Court (About 12 miles from park, 30-minute drive)
Two tasty days of street food, local producers, chef demos and live music in lovely Narberth. It’s an easy drive from Kiln Park, Penally Court and Lydstep Beach, with plentiful parking and a relaxed, family feel. Sample Welsh cheeses, pick up picnic provisions for the beach and let the kids dance to their hearts’ content in the music tent. Dates are usually the last weekend of September, and the foodies’ paradise has been a popular local draw since 2000.

Aberystwyth Comedy Festival
When: Early October 2026 (TBC)
Where: Aberystwyth Arts Centre and town venues, SY23 3DE
Nearest park: Quay West (23 miles from park, 45-minute drive)
Close out the season with a laugh or two. This festival brings over 40 stand-up legends to theatres and quirky spaces across town. From Quay West it’s an easy coastal drive, and shows are well-timed for a simple afternoon beach trip followed by an early evening gig. There are lunchtime gigs too: keep an eye on the line-up and seize family-friendly slots or matinees.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2032
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.

The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. Move your caravan to Haven for free - full terms and conditions
This offer is available for holiday home owners not located at a Haven park and that want to relocate their holiday home from their current holiday park a Haven holiday park, subject to pitch availability and the satisfactory completion of our standard onboarding checks. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, apart from the free 2026 site fee promotion if applicable to the Haven park. Haven reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.
In order to be eligible to participate in the offer, your holiday home must be situated within a 50-mile radius of the Haven park that you wish to relocate to. The holiday home must be no more than 15 years old from the date of manufacture and if it has been purchased under a finance agreement, the holiday homeowner must provide confirmation from their lender that the holiday home can be moved to the Haven park.
Haven will transport your holiday home from the entrance of its current holiday park location to the required Haven park and will reimburse your transportation costs up-to a maximum value of £750; any excess must be paid by the holiday homeowner.
