Static Caravans for Sale in Essex

Caravan holidays in Essex

Sh, don’t tell anyone, but our holiday park in Essex is a hidden gem. It’s the perfect spot to put down roots and buy your own static caravan. Winding creeks, mud flats, tinkling rivers, it’s a haven for wildlife – and families. Surrounded by open farmland, The Orchards is calm, peaceful and inspiring. You’ll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but you’re actually just a Frisbee-throw from London. Holiday boltholes don’t get more convenient than this.

Our static caravan park in Essex

Out on the edge of a large peninsula by the North Sea, The Orchards is cut off from the rest of Essex by creeks and rivers. The park itself is long and thin, which gives it a unique look – a bit different to all our other parks. This unusual shape ensures that all of our static caravans for sale are just a short distance from water. It’s all too easy to while away the days with a book, listening to the gentle ebb and flow of the tide. But when you do decide to drag yourself away from your favourite spot under a tree, you’ll find plenty to explore outside the park.

First, you’ll probably want to visit Clacton-on-Sea. Just a few miles away, this traditional seaside resort has its own Victorian pleasure pier and a proper bucket-and-spade charm. If you’re here in August don’t miss the annual Clacton Air Show. The Red Arrows put on a brilliant display – popular with every member of the family from toddler to Grandpa. Or if it’s sunny, pick up a bucket and spade and head to the sandy beach.

Things to do in Essex

But it’s not all about the seaside down here. There is lots of history to discover in Essex:

  • Roman ruins in Colchester
  • Colchester Zoo and Colchester Castle
  • Dedham Vale
  • Hike up the valley

You’ll see the very same views that inspired Constable. And because this is an area of outstanding natural beauty that’s protected from development, nothing much has changed.

After that you might want to head back to our park. With great facilities, including a golf course and swimming pools, this is a really lovely place to spend time. It’s perfect for children too. You can pull up a deckchair while they play happily and make new friends by the creeks.

Once you’ve visited this part of Essex, you’ll want to come back time and again. And with your own caravan to return to, you can explore the region at your own pace, whenever you choose.
