How to find us
From the North & North West: At Chester, pick up the A55 and A5. Join A487 to Caernarfon, then A499 to Pwllheli. Then A497 to Porthmadog. The park is on the right, approximately 3 miles out of Pwllheli.
From the Midlands & the South: Take the M54 to Telford, A5 past Oswestry and Llangollen. Take A494 to Bala. In Bala turn right for Porthmadog. Turn left at the roundabout in Porthmadog, signposted Criccieth and Pwllheli. The park is on the left, 3 miles out of Criccieth.

New developments frequently asked questions
When do the new developments open and will anything be closed in the meantime?
The new Coast House will be finished in April 2019. Until it opens, we won't have a dine-in restaurant offering. We will, however, have plenty of other snacking and eating options, including our Starbucks Coffee House, Burger King, Papa John's Pizza, Millie's Cookies and Cook's Fish and Chips takeaways.
Dragon Lakes Adventure Village also opens in April 2019. Until then, most of the rest of our leisure activities will be open as usual, including the sensational Splashaway Bay swimming pool, Adventure Golf, Archery, Nature Rockz activities, Junior Segways, Pic 'n' Paint Studio and Sand Art.
Can you explain what Coast House is, and how the Cakery, The Pizza Deck, and HMS Glendower eateries are related?
The Coast House is a venue where you can take your pick from several eating options. Inside Coast House, you have the Coast House bar and grill, the Cakery, The Pizza Deck, and the HMS Glendower pub - you'll also find the indoor soft play area and Oodles family amusements centre. This will open in April 2019.
Where has the kart hire gone?
It has now moved location to be included within the Dragon Lakes Adventure Village and will open again in April 2019.
Where is Segways Adventure?
Segways Adventure has now moved and will be run from the new Activity and Leisure Hub in Dragon Lakes Adventure Village. It will open again in April 2019.
It says there’s a new Oodles family amusements centre. Is the current FunWorks affected?
No, FunWorks will still be open on the north side of the park.
What is the fire pit?
The fire pit is an outside seating area, located next to the lake.
Are the boats on the lake dragon shaped?
Yes, the pedalos are similar to the swans we have at Craig Tara. And we also have six electric boats; four are replica RNLI lifeboat, and two are replica fishing boats and you can either float around the lake at your own pace, or play a game and follow the clues on a boat scavenger hunt.
What provisions do we make for people with disabilities in the new developments?
Coast House - There is one designated disabled parking bay at the front of the entrance, with ample additional car parking. The entrance to the Coast House bar and grill, Pizza Deck and Cakery is through the main car park entrance, which has level access. The outer set of double doors to each venue are automated, the inner set of doors are manual, and this is compliant with the building regulations. Guests will be welcomed at the host point and staff will note if guests are in need of assistance. It is possible to move throughout the entire restaurant area without the need to negotiate any steps.
The Coast House bar and grill and Pizza Deck offer full table service. There is internal ramped and stepped access available to the bar and HMS Glendower from the restaurant, and there is an external ramp which provides access to the bar area from the lake side. All changes in level have been designed in accordance with current legislation.
The Coast House bar and grill, Pizza Deck and HMS Glendower pub each have provision for larger, lowered wheelchair accessible dining tables. There is also a mix of lounge, dining, and poseur height seating throughout the building to accommodate the customer's varying needs.
Both the male and female toilet blocks are on the ground floor and have a level access and approach. Inside, they both have a lowered vanity counter for children, and a disabled cubicle in each facility.

To book an activity, you will need to download the latest version of the Haven 'What's On' app either via Google Play or the App Store. Here you will see a list of activities, their times, locations and prices. Prices are catered to each particular activity.
Please note: Activity Bundles are no longer available at this park.
Activities can be purchased via the app up to 2 hours before the activity starts via a debit or credit card. Our pay as you go activities cannot be used on Pic 'n' Paint (excluding bookable sessions), concession-delivered activities or in shops, spas and restaurants.
Activities are not transferable to other parks and are valid throughout the 2019 season only.
Refunds are only available from March 1 2019 via our Contact Centre on 0333 202 5433. Activities can be cancelled and refunded up to 48 hours before the activity starts via the What's On app. After 48 hours, all refunds must be directed to the park.

Why should I choose Haven?

Can my friends and family visit me?
Absolutely! As an owner, you'll receive 10 Privilege Cards. So you can give your favourite people full access to all the facilities. And as we always say, 'the more, the merrier,' so if you need any extra cards, you can buy more from our Owner Services team.
Can I choose where my holiday home is within the park?
Of course you can. Choose your 'plot of gold' from the list of available pitch locations to secure the perfect place for your coastal home from home.
Do I own the land?
You'll be the proud owner of a holiday home, but not the land itself. Your annual fees cover your right to occupy a pitch, as long as you stick to the park rules.
What do site fees cover?
Site fees cover all of the important things that keep your dream park ship-shape. This includes on-site security, park maintenance, landscaping, rubbish collection, mowing the lawns, full use of park facilities and activities. They also cover help from our wonderful park teams.
Any other running costs I should know about?
When you're planning to buy a holiday home, you should allow for extra costs like non-domestic rates, water, gas, electricity, safety tests, insurance and alarm maintenance, on top of the site fees. Also, keep in mind extras you might fancy, like preparing your holiday home for winter.
Do I have to change my holiday home every 5 or 10 years?
You should be able to enjoy your holiday home for as long as you like, you just need to take good care of it and make sure it's safe and well maintained. The initial licence period for the occupation of a pitch on the park is 12 years.
Can I feel secure that the park is safe?
We have on-park security 24 hours a day. The security team regularly patrol the park and keep an eye out for any wandering youngsters, making sure they don't venture off without a parent. They will also refuse entry to anyone without a valid pass. Plus, we offer a Park Security Alarm system to protect your holiday home for an additional fee.
Who do I ask if I've got a question or problem?
Our Owner Services team are always on hand to help answer any questions you may have, big or small.
Can we bring our dog?
We love dogs. Get in touch with us for a list of the breeds we allow. And a heads-up: if you have a furry guest in your holiday home, it'll affect the letting grade if you decide to let with us.
What happens if I want to leave the park?
We understand circumstances can change. There are three options when selling your holiday home. Firstly, the park reserves the right of first refusal at the offer price. If you decide not to go with our offer, you can either sell to a private third party, or to a caravan trader. Alternatively, you can gift your holiday home to a proven family member.
Is buying a holiday home a good investment?
Buying a holiday home is really a lifestyle choice. By letting with us, you can help to offset the cost of ownership. However, because resale values will reduce over time, buying a holiday home should not be seen as an investment for the purposes of yielding an income.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes – a minimum of either £3,000 or 15% of the value of the holiday home, whichever is greater.
Is finance available?
That's a definite yes. We're here to help in any way we can – that includes a range of payment options (which are subject to status).

Is there a way to help cover the running costs of my holiday home?
Our Holiday Home Letting Service means you can earn an income for the dates you let, along with lots of extra benefits like inventory replacement, and free carpet and upholstery cleaning. Alternatively, you can let privately.
