Safety and security is the top priority for any home, be it in the middle of hustle and bustle or in more idyllic settings by the sea. 

As a static caravan owner, keeping you and your loved ones safe is our top priority, so you can focus on making memories that last a lifetime in a safe and secure environment, both within your own property and throughout your chosen holiday park. 

Let’s take you through the measures we can take to keep you safe and secure during your time with us as a static caravan owner.

Ramtech security alarms

Ramtech security alarms

We work with Ramtech, a world-class provider of holiday park monitoring solutions. Ramtech alarms are fitted within your static caravan for ultimate peace of mind. 

But how does it work? 

We use Ramtech’s wise wireless monitoring system. This can be turned on and off easily when you leave your holiday home. If it’s triggered whilst you’re away, an instant notification will be sent to your park security team. As general practice, it also logs what time an entry and an exit are made from your holiday home.

Park security alarm

For total peace of mind, the park security alarm installed in your holiday home provides you with 24/7 security cover all-year-round. It’s a wireless, silent alarm system covering your holiday home.  

When activated, the alarm goes straight to a pager carried by your park team. They will then come and investigate promptly.

Subscription model

Once you’ve installed your park security alarm for a one-off payment, a subscription model keeps if functioning, all day, every day. This subscription costs £85 per year. This is included in your first year’s package price, with the annual subscription optional in your second year as an owner. 

Any holiday home fitted with an active security alarm system and a Bourne Leisure insurance policy will receive an annual £15 discount from their insurance fee.

What comes with my alarm installation?

Your Ramtech alarm installation includes: 

  • Alarm hub and motion sensor (PIR) 

  • Installation and fitting –covering lounge area and main entrance 

  • Three keys (identical) to operate alarm 

  • The security database updated with location, stock code and home description, so we know where an alert is coming from 

  • Extras can be purchased to cover other areas, including bedrooms and storage

What does my subscription include?

Your Ramtech subscription includes: 

  • Connection to security network 

  • Security alert monitoring and park team on hand to attend 

  • Health monitoring hourly to alert engineer to any fault or low battery 

  • Engineer visits – any issues are dealt with free of charge, including battery levels, alarm maintenance or servicing the alarm and extras 

  • All extras purchased are also covered in the subscription at no extra cost

You’ll see our friendly security team patrolling the park, and they’re easily recognised by their uniforms and name badges. They’re always available if you need any assistance and can be contacted by phone 24/7. You’ll find their number displayed in your park’s reception. 

In addition, you can expect: 

  • Door security in entertainment venues at the busiest times 

  • Team members at park entrances to record check-ins. Team will also check for proof of stay for those entering the holiday park 

  • Friendly wardens for maintenance and park upkeep. They’re always on hand to help!

Important information

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2031

Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.

‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset until 2031’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview.  The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.

“Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset until 2031” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Atlas Sahara 3 Bed or equivalent or superior grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion.  It is available across 40% of eligible Parks and applies when letting a new Atlas Sahara 3 Bed holiday home (or equivalent or superior grade for 15 weeks.

An example of how “Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset until 2031” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of an Atlas Sahara 3 Bed holiday home at Primrose Valley with a monthly site fee of £585.00 (includes purchasing discount of £45) and monthly letting income of £803.67. The monthly difference equates to £218.67, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and the monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2024 figures.

Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Atlas Sahara 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. The modelled assumptions are based on the historical performance of Haven over the past 5 years of trading.
