What happens during your visit?

What happens during your visit?

You'll go through many of the steps below at your own pace. Remember: it's your visit, so it'll be based on what you want to know.

  • Meet your caravan expert, one of our holiday home team.

  • Discuss your ownership needs and what you want to get out of your visit.

  • Take a walk around the showground and take a look inside the caravans there.

  • Visit the owner-only facilities* and the main facilities on the park.

  • Jump into a vehicle and see any sited caravans for sale.

  • Look at vacant pitches to see if there's a spot that makes you sing.

  • Discuss the details over a warm drink - think running costs, site fees and park rules.

  • Explore your finance options. If you're looking to buy with finance, we can do the necessary checks to see if you're a candidate for this.

  • Get an understanding of what Haven Letting can do for you.

  • Have time to yourself so you can chat, explore and think things through.

What are the benefits of a park visit?

We can't recommend a park ownership visit enough, it'll give you the opportunity to see the park through the lens of an owner and discover all about the lifestyle that ownership could bring. That's the exciting bit! Our team love to show off the brilliant aspects of the park that our current owners love too, but they also enjoy matching the right caravan to the right people. There's not much our experts don't know about our caravan models, and they follow the standards set by the National Caravan Council to create a smooth and well-informed buying process. The team know all the the crucial information and they'll take you through this in an easy-to-follow manner. You'll also get plenty of time to ask any questions you may have.

Will I get time to explore?

Will I get time to explore?

We want you to enjoy the experience of being on the park and you'll have time to explore on your own. This is a great time to think further about your needs and elements such as:

The journey to the park - making the journey will give you an idea of the length and complexity of the route. Can you imagine yourself making the trip multiple times and can friends and family easily get to the park too?

Access - if you have mobility issues or small children, the terrain and size of the park may be a factor to consider. As you explore, you'll learn if the park will work for your needs.

The atmosphere of the park - this will depend on time of year you visit so you may also need to think about seasonality here.

Friendliness of the team - there's always a core team who are available throughout the year, even when the park is closed. Can you see yourself interacting with them? Did you feel welcome?

Places around the park - are there enough dog walking areas for the furry family member? Are there attractions nearby if you like to explore? How far is it to the nearest town, village or beach and can you walk to it?

On-park facilities - you'll be guided around all the facilities during you visit and you could always factor in some time to enjoy some of them while you're there. Availability will vary by season and park, so please ask the park team about what you can do on the day when they call you just before your future visit.

Will I be pressured to buy?
