What’s on in the Lake District 2026
There’s always plenty going on in this part of the world, so to help you plan your itinerary for your next stay, here’s a snapshot of what’s on in the Lake District in 2026.
Your next break to the Lake District could be in the diary before you know it, with prices starting at £4 per person per night, and low deposits available.
Our Lakeland Leisure Park is the perfect gateway into the Lake District National Park. Set in south Lakeland close to Grange-over-Sands, you'll find views over Morecambe Bay from the edge of the park, the lovely town of Cartmel close by, and Bardsea beach and its ice cream shops a short drive away. On park, you'll find family-friendly accommodation, brilliant facilities and plenty of fun things to do.
At Haven, whenever you book your break you can rest assured that with our Price Promise, you’ll never pay more than you should. Book your break now, and if you see it advertised for a lower price before your stay, get in touch and we will refund you the difference.
If you’re flexible on when you want to stay, it’s also worth exploring mid-week and off-peak dates, or using our booking calendar to compare dates and prices.
And you'll also find low deposits from £30, and the option to spread your costs into monthly payments.

Our budget-friendly Lake District holiday park is set in the charming village of Flookburgh, close to family-friendly days out like the Lakeside & Haverthwaite heritage railway, Holker Hall and Gardens, and the stunning Grizedale Forset.
On park, you'll find a whole range of brilliant facilities and things to do, including:
Indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools
Marina Bar and Stage entertainment venue
Coming soon - a new J D Wetherspoon pub (due spring 2026)
Activity lake with kayaks and paddleboarding
Crazy golf course
Climbing Wall and Aerial Adventure rope courses
Takeaways including Cook's fish and chips, Burger King and Papa Johns
Because our parks are dotted along the beautiful British coast, there’s no shortage of things to do in the local area, including days out that won’t cost a penny. Browse some ideas in our things to do articles.
On park, you’ll find both free and paid-for activities to book, and kids can always enjoy the free outdoor play areas available.
And when it comes to what to eat and drink, you’re welcome to bring food to suit your needs to enjoy in your self-catering accommodation, and you can always top up your supplies in our great value supermarkets. We also have brilliant value for money deals in our on-park food and drink venues throughout the season.

Staying as a group can be a great way to divide the cost of your Haven break. We have caravans to fit six to eight people, depending on which you book.
You'll find a range of cosy caravans at every park to suit your needs, starting with the basic and welcoming saver, all the way through to the more luxurious gold, signature and lodge grades.
At certain Haven parks you'll also find apartments, chalets or glamping which are often cost effective too.
We advertise our cheapest breaks for the next four weeks on our last minute deals page.
You can book a range of durations at Haven to suit your needs and budget, from 2-night weekend and 3-night long weekend breaks, to 4, 7, 10 and 14-night stays.
We recommend a visit to Bardsea beach (about a 30-minute drive from Lakeland).
