Best outdoor activities for kids

Fly high and land softly! The awe-inspiring experience our bungee trampolines offer meant we had to include them on the list of best outdoor activities for kids. We’re certain your little ones will love bouncing on a bungee trampoline - where with the help of a bungee cord they can go as high as they wish.

Our rangers will sort everything out, then it's up to you to enjoy a unique view of the park as you bounce as high as you can. We all have great memories of bouncy castles, but this is in a different league!

Riding a Segway has to be one of the world’s most rapidly growing pastimes. It seems you see more with every passing day! Whether you’re trying to get from A to B, or just want to enjoy a leisurely ride on this futuristic gadget, a Segway is suitable for all. Fast, fun and challenging, all ages are guaranteed to get a thrill out of these.

Our rangers put on Junior Segway sessions to help kids master their ride. Using Ninebot miniPRO Segways, junior racers will be able to weave in and out of obstacles on our all-weather surfaces. There is no doubt that this is one of the most unique and best outdoor activities for kids on our parks.

Why not take to the skies and enjoy a beautiful view of our parks? The kids can push themselves to new heights on our Aerial Adventure courses, and you can join them! These large spaces are full of obstacles to navigate, with a cheeky surprise or two along the way. All you have to do is get harnessed, climb up to the platform and get your safety harness on. Then the exploring starts!

We also have smaller Aerial Adventure courses for tots, so your little ones can get swinging on a course their own size. And if you’re a bit of a night owl, we also run an exciting night-time Aerial Adventure session for a bird's eye view of dusk.

Navigating a zip wire has to be up there when we think of the most thrilling, yet simple things we did on holiday as kids. Nothing compares to the adrenaline rush of speeding down the wire and getting an amazing view of the surroundings.

We’ve also added an extra layer at some of our parks with our Adrena-Line areas (don’t you just love the name). These two-directional zip wires give you the chance to pass the kids as you’re on the ride. We want to know who will scream louder! Either way, our zip wires will leave you all wanting another go. It’s definitely one of the best activities for kids.

Put your pedal power to the test by bringing the kids out one of our speedy karts. These come in all shapes and sizes, with two-seaters and four-seaters for a bigger group. Take a break from walking or driving as you navigate your way round the park. Little ones will love the change this makes, as you all do your bit to keep the kart moving. It’s a great first step on the road to learning how to cycle.
