South Downs Way 50

This classic ultra-marathon follows 50 miles of the South Downs Way, finishing on the track at Eastbourne Sports Park. From coastal views to rolling chalk hills, runners tackle big climbs and open ridge paths before a rewarding descent into town. It’s an inspiring event to spectate too, with family-friendly viewing at the finish as participants complete their long day on the Downs.

Goodwoof Festival

Dog lovers, this is your weekend! Goodwoof is a tail-wagging festival celebrating our furry best friends with world-class competitions, free have-a-go activities like flyball, hurdles and dog yoga, plus wellness talks from vets and experts.
Watch sheepdog trials and CaniCross races or relax with a picnic, woodland walks and the Ministry of Hound dog disco. Kids and dogs go free (pre-book dogs) and gates open 9:30 am daily – it’s a paws-itively brilliant family day out just 20 minutes from Church Farm.

Corpus Christi Carpet of Flowers, Arundel Cathedral
When: Wednesday 3 – Thursday 4 June 2026
Where: Arundel Cathedral, London Road, BN18 9AY
Nearest park: Church Farm (15 miles from park, 30-minute drive)
Arundel’s famous flower carpet fills the cathedral with colour for two special days (and has done so for almost 150 years). It’s around a 20-minute drive from Church Farm, and the town’s cafés and riverside walks make Arundel a worthwhile day trip. Queues can build at peak times, so arrive early or visit late in the afternoon. Pair it with a stroll over to the castle gardens if you want even more blooms. Parking is well signposted in town, and the cathedral is a short walk up the hill.
Eastbourne WTA Tennis Tournament
When: Monday 22 – Saturday 27 June 2026
Where: Devonshire Park Tennis, College Rd, Eastbourne BN21 4JJ
Nearest park: Combe Haven (16 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
World-class tennis comes to the seaside as top WTA players warm up for Wimbledon on Eastbourne’s famous grass courts. Across six action-packed days, you can watch singles and doubles matches up close.
Between matches, enjoy the stroll down to seafront to grab an ice cream or explore Eastbourne’s cafés and gardens. Seats on the main show courts and for the later rounds usually sell quickly, so it’s worth booking in advance if you’ve got your eye on a particular day.

Goodwood Festival of Speed

Where: Goodwood House, Kennel Hill, Chichester, PO18 0PX
Nearest park: Church Farm (21 miles from park, 20-minute drive)
For something a bit more adrenaline-fuelled, this renowned petrolheads’ event features new car launches, heart-stopping daily races, and F1 heroes behind the wheel. Goodwood is about 20 minutes from Church Farm by car. Book tickets and parking in advance, bring hats and refillable water bottles. There are loads of food options and family zones, plus quiet corners on the lawns when you need a breather.

Airbourne: Eastbourne International Airshow
When: August 2026, dates TBC
Where: Eastbourne Seafront, near the Bandstand, BN21 3AD
Nearest park: Combe Haven (15 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
Four days of free flying displays along two miles of seafront make Airbourne a brilliant family day out. Pack a picnic, find a spot on the beach or prom and look out for the RAF stars and rocketing jets. There are ground exhibits, kids’ activities and evening entertainment too. Parking and trains get busy, so arrive early and follow local advice for seafront and town car parks.

Rye Arts Festival
When: Sunday 13 – Monday 28 September 2026 (dates aligned with 2025 festival)
Where: Rye, East Sussex
Nearest park: Combe Haven (16 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
Encounter world-class performances in music, comedy, literature and visual arts in a charming historic town. 2025’s event ranged from classical recitals to nature tours and wine tastings and 2026 is likely to be just as varied. The festival spans two full weeks, mixing big-name acts with community events, and is perfect for families.

Battle of Hastings Re-enactment
When: Mid-October 2026, dates TBC
Where: 1066 Battle of Hastings, Abbey and Battlefield, High Street, Battle, TN33 0AE
Nearest park: Combe Haven (6.5 miles from park, 20-minute drive)
History fans will love the roar of the shield wall as hundreds of reenactors bring 1066 back to life on the very field where it happened. It’s a short and scenic drive from Combe Haven. Expect living history camps, demos, food stalls and a big main clash in the afternoon. Bring layers and a blanket for hillside viewing. Tickets usually go on sale late summer, so keep an eye on English Heritage for dates and details.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2032
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. An example of how “Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of a Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and inflation. The monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures. Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. Move your caravan to Haven for free - full terms and conditions
This offer is available for holiday home owners not located at a Haven park and that want to relocate their holiday home from their current holiday park a Haven holiday park, subject to pitch availability and the satisfactory completion of our standard onboarding checks. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, apart from the free 2026 site fee promotion if applicable to the Haven park. Haven reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.
In order to be eligible to participate in the offer, your holiday home must be situated within a 50-mile radius of the Haven park that you wish to relocate to. The holiday home must be no more than 15 years old from the date of manufacture and if it has been purchased under a finance agreement, the holiday homeowner must provide confirmation from their lender that the holiday home can be moved to the Haven park.
Haven will transport your holiday home from the entrance of its current holiday park location to the required Haven park and will reimburse your transportation costs up-to a maximum value of £750; any excess must be paid by the holiday homeowner. Haven does not accept any responsibility for any damage that happens to the interior of your holiday home whilst it is being transported to one of our holiday parks. We recommend your holiday home is fully packed down and ready for transportation. Transportation does not include decking. Any decking bought onto a Haven park must be approved by the General Manager of that park to ensure it meets Haven standards. Siting and connection costs for your holiday home on a Haven park will be paid for by Haven. Offer excludes payment of holiday home disconnection at your current park and transportation costs from its current pitch to the entrance of its current park.
