Grimsby Town Football Club

Where: Blundell Park, Cleethorpes
With its Blundell Park ground located in Cleethorpes, the league two Grimsby Town FC has fixtures throughout the season, and you can buy tickets online before heading down to the stands.
Lincoln Makers Market
When: first Saturday of every month
Where: Castle Square, Lincoln
You’ll be spoilt for choice at Lincoln Makers Market, with a range of gifts, crafts, art, jewellery, food and drink from many a talented creator.
March

Mablethorpe Sandracing
When: 10 and 24 March
Where: Mablethorpe Beach
Free to spectate from the promenade, motorcycle riders compete in a speedy oval circuit on the sands at Mablethorpe. Well-known racers have been known to compete, and it’s a great bit of entertainment to combine with a visit to the promenade’s shops and cafes.
North Lincolnshire half marathon and 10k
When: 17 March
Where: Quibell Park, Scunthorpe
Priding itself on being a flat, fast, and friendly course, competitors and spectators are welcome here – there's even cake for finishers!
How Sweet it is, The Greatest Hits of Motown
When: 30 March
Where: The Embassy Theatre, Skegness
Enjoy Mowtown classics performed live in this touring show. With slick choreography and a live band, you’ll be Dancing on the Ceiling to hits from the likes of Lionel Richie, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.

Cirque: The Greatest Show
When: 13 April
Where: Grimsby Auditorium
Musical meets circus in this captivating spectacular. You’ll see aerialist and contortionists performing breathtaking feats, all to the soundtrack of West End and Broadway favourites.
Havoc Festival
When: 27 April
Where: The Hive, Skegness
Expect to see over 50 artists performing across five stages in this indoor rave. With Twisted 90s, Drum & Base and more, it’s going to get loud!
Boston UK Marathon
When: 28 April
Where: Boston Market Place
Officially assessed as the UK’s flattest marathon, spectators and competitors alike are welcome at the event, which meanders through the town and its rural outskirts.

Boston May Fair
When: 4-11 May
Where: Boston Market Place
There’ll be fun for all the family at this annual fair, which sees Boston’s town centre taken over with fairground rides and attractions. This well-loved fair is thought to be one of the longest running in the UK!
Spalding Flower Parade
When: 11-12 May
Where: Castle Sports Complex, Spalding
With an array of colourfully decorated floats and trailers, marching bands, dancers and more, this traditional event is a real draw for local families. And the 2024 theme is Movies, so there’s bound to be some incredible costumes and displays!
The Gathering Fest
When: 8 May
Where: Meridian Showground, Cleethorpes
With five arenas, 60 acts, 10 hours of music and a range of food and stalls, The Gathering Fest celebrates its 5th birthday in 2024. Join on the fun with a range of DJ sets and live performances.

So Festival Mablethorpe and Skegness
When: 14-16 June
Where: Venues in Mablethorpe and Skegness, TBC
This free, cultural street arts festival has a bit of everything! Previous acts have included aerialists, live bands, and even puppets! The full line-up and locations are still being confirmed, but it’s one not to be missed when you’re in the area.
Mablethorpe Pride 2024
When: 21-23 June
Where: Around Mablethorpe High Street
The whole town joins together for a celebration on love, diversity and inclusion at Mablethorpe Pride. Expect lots of music, lots of colour, and a whole load of fun for all.
Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend
When: 28-30 June
Where: Around Cleethorpes Pier
This free, annual event includes armed forces parades and displays, bringing the whole town together in celebration.
July

Summer Plate Ladies Day
When: 20 July
Where: Market Rasen Racecourse
Ladies can enjoy a day at the races in all their finery thanks to this annual event. There’ll even be prizes for the best dressed thanks to The Style Awards competition.

Evening Racing
When: 17 August
Where: Market Rasen Racecourse
Have a night at the races! Watch horses and jockeys take on this challenging course on a summer evening, and enjoy the hospitality available within the racecourse.

Boston Book Festival
When: 21-22 September
Where: Blackfriars Theatre and Arts Centre, Boston
Hear from authors, share poetry and engage in a range of workshops at this annual literary event, which takes place across a handful of public venues in Boston.
