Superheroes, retro arcades, props, cosplay—this weekend is a crowd-pleaser for kids and big kids alike. It’s indoors at Westpoint, so the weather isn’t an issue, and there’s plenty of parking. From Devon Cliffs, it’s a straightforward drive via Exeter, making it an easy add-on to your break. Expect traders, meet-and-greets, photo ops, and themed zones—perfect for a rainy-day plan B.

Easter Trails at Powderham Castle

Where: Powderham Castle, Kenton, Exeter, EX6 8JQ
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (16 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
Spring at Powderham is lovely—think blossom, deer park views, and a big family trail dotted around the grounds. The castle typically runs egg hunts and Easter activities across the holiday, with plenty of space for little legs to roam. It’s an easy 35–40 minute drive from Devon Cliffs, and you can combine it with a riverside stroll nearby. Keep an eye on the programme as dates are confirmed closer to the time.

Brixham Pirate Festival
When: 2–4 May 2026 (Early May Bank Holiday)
Where: Brixham Harbour & Old Fish Market, The Quay, Brixham
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (40 miles from park, one hour 15-minute drive)
Dig out an eye patch and join one of Devon’s liveliest free events. The whole harbourfront fills with sea shanties, cannon fire demos, markets, and plenty of fancy dress. It’s great fun for families, and there are loads of spots to grab fish and chips while you watch the action. Parking gets busy—arrive early or use Torbay transport. About 50–60 minutes by car from Devon Cliffs.

International Stand Up Paddling World Cup, Torbay
When: 24–28 June 2026
Where: Torbay seafront (Paignton/Torquay), various waterfront locations
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (30 miles from park, 55-minute drive)
World-class paddlers, have-a-go sessions, and a festival vibe on the English Riviera—this is one for water-loving families. You can spectate from the promenade, then dip into cafes, beaches and playgrounds right behind the action. It’s an easy coastal drive from the park and a brilliant way to spend a sunny day. Exeter Craft Festival
When: 9–11 July 2026
Where: Exeter Cathedral Green, EX1 1HS
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (12 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
Stalls spill across Cathedral Green with contemporary crafts, jewellery, ceramics, textiles, and live demos. It’s relaxed, walkable, and perfect for picking up a handmade souvenir between ice creams and picnic stops on the lawn. Being city-centre, you’ve got cafes and the RAMM museum nearby if you want to make a day of it. The Park & Ride is handy too, or it’s around 40 minutes’ drive from Devon Cliffs.

Sidmouth Folk Festival
When: 31 July – 7 August 2026
Where: Venues across Sidmouth (EX10)
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (12 miles from park, 30-minute drive)
Music on the seafront, ceilidhs, workshops, family shows—Sidmouth comes alive for a whole week. You don’t need tickets for everything, as plenty spills out onto streets and parks, so you can dip in and out with the kids. It’s a scenic half-hour drive from the park along the Jurassic Coast, and there’s lots of beach time to mix in between gigs.
International Agatha Christie Festival
When: 12–20 September 2026
Where: Torre Abbey & venues around Torquay, TQ2 5JE
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (30 miles from park, 55-minute drive)
Celebrate the Queen of Crime in her hometown with talks, performances, film, and walks. The programme mixes big names with family-friendly events, and Torre Abbey’s gardens are lovely on a warm early-autumn day. Torquay is under an hour from Devon Cliffs, so it’s an easy literary day trip followed by a sunset stroll back at Sandy Bay.

Crealy Theme Park: Halloween Spook-Fest

Where: Crealy Theme Park & Resort, Sidmouth Road, Exeter, EX5 1DR
Nearest park: Devon Cliffs (12 miles from park, 30-minute drive)
Crealy goes full spooky with family trails, shows, gentle scares, and pumpkins for little ones—plus the usual rides. It’s close to the park, so you can time a morning of rides with an afternoon swim back at Devon Cliffs. Evening openings on select dates add extra atmosphere—keep watch for the 2026 schedule.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2032
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. An example of how “Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of a Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and inflation. The monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures. Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. The modelled assumptions are based on the historical performance of Haven over the past 5 years of trading as of 2024. Images are shown for representational purposes.
