It's work life balance that we needed to consider. Our work life balance was so hectic. My husband working full time, myself working full time and our youngsters. So our weekends were just spent washing, gardening, housework, shopping, and we just felt exhausted. So when the right time in our life came along and an opportunity to purchase, that's when we decided to move into a Haven caravan park. 

So before we had our caravan here, we would probably have spent the weekend doing a bit of DIY. My son played rugby, so we'd be standing at the side of the rugby pitch cheering him on. We would have been probably going for meals, maybe going to the pub, just typical normal stuff, really. And now, well, my son doesn't play rugby anymore, so we no longer have the freezing morning Sunday rugby pitch moments. We now wake up in a lovely holiday home. We go for dinner, the owner's restaurant on site's lovely. So we tend to get here on a Friday afternoon, go for a nice meal. We'll then perhaps go for lots of nice walks. The area and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning so we spend quite a lot of time going out locally. And the biggest difference is that we just actually relax a lot more. We actually take time to actually relax, which we probably didn't do before. 

I love the freedom to get away every week on holiday and having my own possessions around me in the caravan. I love getting away and enjoy the view from our veranda but with the privacy of our own garden area.

I like going down when I want. Finishing work on a Friday, thinking it's going to be a nice weekend, being able to chuck the things in the car and go and visit. It's my little piece of heaven in Haven. It is.  

The Simply Letting service always work well, just because it's taken out of your hands. It's dealt with. You don't have to deal with it. It's simple and easier. 

For someone choosing a company to own a holiday home, I would have to say it would have to be Bourne Leisure. They're a big company. They're someone who knows what they're doing. They know how to treat people. They know how things work. They've always been informative when I've dealt with head office or park. I've always felt listened to as an owner and valued. I definitely recommend them to anyone.
