Kent Coast

This is one of my favourite places in the world, especially now it's been modernised. The entertainment centre has loads of great stuff, the swimming pool is now excellent and the staff are all lovely. I would go here with kids and without, and have a great time either way.

What a actual fantastic trip, Went for a 5 night stay in a gold caravan. Spectacular. Only one little deduction is how the hdmi embedded into the wall its tip of the cable was ripped off but we managed to find another hdmi laying around so that saved us, Did many activity's like nature walk, Fire Starting e.c.t Swimming pool was excellent although when we booked our holiday it still said the outside pool was available and we try to go there just to see its been renovated into a indoors pool. I must say the entertainment is quite dead. It's good and all but not many people show up, and to be honest it does not last as long. I do love how you ask people to preform like there was people singing and all that. Beds was good, Service was good. The shop on site can get a little bit pricy but to be honest that's expected. Oh ALSO! in the caravan what bothered me much was there is no free wifi, and the service inside the caravan was like 2 bars so even with mobile data everything was laggy. But in all honesty, Its a great holiday park and its good to bring kids. We will be returning hopefully in the next couple years!

Nice park with plenty to do. Had a gold pet friendly caravan due no pet ones already all booked. The caravan living area had a very strong dog smell so had to keep windows open and get some air fresheners so if you don't have a pet then avoid booking pet friendly caravan. New swimming pools where amazing but changing area floor dirty and plenty of rubbish on the floor, just need to keep on top of that. Mainly the stickers from armbands what are just thrown on the floot, maybe the reception should get the people to put them on before going through the doors. Entertainment was good as always and staff friendly and helpful

Very disappointing start to our holiday, despite a great park What should have been the start of a happy family holiday turned into a distressing and humiliating experience. My partner and my 8-year-old son arrived ahead of me (I’m the lead booker) due to work commitments. They were refused access to our caravan because I wasn’t present — despite there being no clear information anywhere stating that keys can only be handed to the lead booker in person. We’ve stayed at Haven sites for years and this has never been an issue before. Staff at both the gate and reception were rude, abrupt, and completely unhelpful. No effort was made to assist or show understanding. My partner was repeatedly told their only options were to sit in a pub or wait in the car. As a result, my partner and son were forced to sit in a cold car for several hours. My son has ADHD and became extremely distressed. Staff were made aware of this, yet no empathy or alternative solutions were offered. We were made to feel like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. When I arrived later, the attitude from staff remained poor. I was told I couldn’t park my van near the caravan and was sent to a so-called “commercial car park,” which turned out to be a muddy, poorly signposted area. Again, no help or apology was offered. On arrival, the caravan was not up to an acceptable standard: visible damage, cobwebs, and cleanliness issues. One shower was unsafe due to a stuck tap running extremely hot, and the other had a broken shower head. After the way we had been treated throughout the day, we did not feel comfortable approaching reception again to report these problems. It’s particularly disappointing because we absolutely love Haven holidays. We visit Haven parks twice a year and have done so for the past eight years with our son, and Haven has always been somewhere we associate with happy family memories. This is the first time we have ever felt truly let down, which makes this experience even more upsetting. That said, it’s important to acknowledge the positives. The park itself is great, the entertainment staff were amazing, and the range of activities on offer was excellent. Unfortunately, the experience was badly let down by the check-in and reception staff, whose lack of compassion and poor customer service overshadowed the start of our holiday. This break was a Christmas present for our son, who normally loves Haven. Sadly, the way we were treated on arrival cast a shadow over what should have been a happy and memorable family holiday.

Great place to stay. Caravan gold was good and clean. Staff are helpful. Not much to do in the surrounding area unless you go into Rochester. Spoons inside the venue is really good and plenty of arcades
