Thornwick Bay pushes the boat out with new watersport facilities

A brand-new Boathouse and jetty has been built at Thornwick Bay, Yorkshire, giving holidaymakers the chance to try out a whole range of wonderful watersports.

Boasting pedalos, boat adventures, standing paddleboarding and kayaking, it makes the most of the holiday site’s new activity lake.

There’s the option to hire paddleboarding and kayaking equipment, or sign up for a coaching session with the experienced Activity Team instructors.

The Boathouse is a handy place to dry off and get warm if needed.

Inside the new building, there are modern changing facilities and toilets, drying space for wetsuits and life jackets, and storage for all the watersport equipment.

There’s an activity to suit all family members at the Boathouse, with boat adventures suitable for all ages, pedalos suitable for children ages two and over under adult supervision, and kayaking and paddleboarding options for those aged eight and up.
