Mash and Barrel: For your favourite British classics

The Mash and Barrel at Haven has given guests great memory-making meals for over a decade, with tasty British classics, tender steaks and crowd-pleasing sharer platters. A firm favourite with guests and owners alike, the menu at the Mash and Barrel is also full of family favourites such as burgers, pasta, and sausages and mash.

At the Mash and Barrel, breakfast, lunch and dinner are all covered. Plus everything in between, with ice-cream treats, gorgeous cocktails, and Costa Coffee and cake to hand whenever you need a little something between activities.

What makes our Mash and Barrel restaurant so popular?

Table service

Wherever you choose to sit, we'll bring everything over to make your dining experience complete, leaving you precious time to choose from all the tasty menu options.

Kids' menus

The dedicated kids' menu means everyone from tots to bigger kids will have a smile on their face as they tuck into their delicious dishes. Every little and big kids' dish comes with a free pot of veggies, to help them towards their five-a-day and keep those tummies from rumbling when the adults are ordering.

Outdoor drinks and dining

Mash and Barrel restaurants make the most of the gorgeous park landscapes, and many have an outdoor terrace for alfresco dining or a drink with the sun on your face. If you have four-legged fur babies in the family, they can happily join you and chill at your feet on the terrace*.

*At all parks with outdoor terraces, except Church Farm.

What's on the menu?

Here's a taste of what to expect on our new menus (allergen information here):

  • Breakfast: new breakfast rolls, including bacon, sausage and Quorn options

  • Lunch: a brand-new menu with all of your favourite paninis

  • Dinner: we've made the meat feast sharer even meatier by adding popcorn chicken; the new Barbacoa burger features two beef patties topped with slow-cooked beef in a BBQ sauce, and our mixed grill comes with tonnes of add-ons - extra steak, anyone?

  • Dessert: what better way to finish your meal, than tucking into a big bowl of ice cream? Chocolate, strawberry and vanilla flavours come topped with squirty cream, sauces, and even mini marshmallows and fudge pieces.

  • Our Sunday roasts with all the trimmings are a traditional delight - and you won't even need to wash up!

For Mash and Barrels with outdoor terraces where you can watch the grandkids having fun in the pool, visit: Greenacres, The Orchards, Combe Haven and Rockley Park. The terrace at Haggerston Castle overlooks the beautiful lake and the one at Devon Cliffs has stunning views of the park towards the sea.

Dog-friendly dining

After a long day of playing with the whole family, you can now wind down in one of our restaurants, and your dogs can join you too! We’re excited to share that all of our dog-friendly parks will now be offering designated areas in our main restaurants, so you can bring the whole family to breakfast, lunch and dinner. We know they're an important part of your family and we’ll have water bowls at the ready!

From the Brigs of Ayr in Craig Tara to the Surf Bay Café in Perran Sands, we’re ready to welcome your pooches with open arms.

Our restaurants cater for all of our guests. We know that not everybody is a doggy-fan and some guests may have allergies. The majority of dining spaces in each restaurant will remain doggy-free; our team will find a dining space suitable for you, your friends and family.
