March
East Riding Festival of Words: SpringFest
When: March 2026 (dates TBC)
Where: Beverley, Bridlington and East Riding venues
Nearest parks: Blue Dolphin, Primrose Valley, Reighton Sands, and Thornwick Bay (About 30 miles from park, 1 hour drive)
This friendly literature festival runs for a week each March with author talks, workshops, poetry trails and comedy shows. It’s a family-friendly event held in local libraries, with sing-alongs and kids’ creative writing sessions. Beverley and Bridlington are within an hour of all four Yorkshire parks, and most events are free or low cost. There are plenty of cosy cafés and pubs nearby to make it a fun outing whatever the weather.

Whitby Gothic Gathering
When: Thursday 2 – Sunday 5 April 2026
Where: Whitby Pavilion, West Cliff, Whitby YO21 3EN
Nearest park: Blue Dolphin (27 miles from park, 55-minute drive)
Whitby was a major inspiration to author Bram Stoker. In the spirit of his masterpiece Dracula, the town’s Gothic Gathering brings music, fashion and creativity to the town each spring. There are market stalls, live gigs, costumed parades and family-friendly fringe events. You don’t need to dress up (though many do) to enjoy the spectacle.

Beverley & East Riding Early Music Festival
When: Friday 22 – Sunday 24 May 2026
Where: Beverley Minster & historic venues, HU17
Nearest park: Blue Dolphin, Primrose Valley, Reighton Sands, and Thornwick Bay (About 30 miles from park, one-hour drive)
Set in some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful churches and halls, this festival fills Beverley with glorious sounds each May. Expect world-class musicians, family concerts and workshops. Even if you’re new to early music, the setting alone is worth the trip.

Bridlington Northern Soul Weekender
When: Friday 26 – Sunday 28 June 2026
Where: Bridlington Spa, South Marine Drive, YO15 3JH
Nearest park: Thornwick Bay (About 6 miles from park, 15-minute drive)
For a contrasting music event in June, this long-running seaside celebration is one of the biggest soul weekends in Europe. The Spa hosts three days of dancing, live acts and top DJs, with daytime record fairs and evening parties. Families can soak up the daytime buzz before younger adults take to the floor at night.

Ryedale Festival
When: Mid to late July 2026 (dates TBC)
Where: Venues across Ryedale, incl. Malton & Castle Howard

A highlight of Yorkshire’s summer, the Ryedale Festival runs across two weeks with concerts, talks and family-friendly workshops. Events take place in historic houses, churches and theatres across the Howardian Hills and North York Moors. The festival mixes international stars with community events, and Castle Howard concerts are a favourite – don’t forget to bring a picnic blanket and make a day of it.

Whitby Folk Week

Where: Whitby, North Yorkshire YO21
Nearest park: Blue Dolphin (38 miles from park, 1 hour 10-minute drive)
One of the UK’s longest-running folk festivals, Whitby Folk Week has filled the town with music and dance since the 1960s. Enjoy ceilidhs, street performances, workshops and family events every day. The harbour, beaches and abbey provide a lovely setting and there’s plenty for kids to do too. From all four Haven parks, Whitby is less than an hour’s drive.

Walking East Yorkshire Festival
When: Early September 2026 (dates TBC, usually 10 days)
Where: Across the Yorkshire Wolds & East Riding
Nearest park: Thornwick Bay (About 40 miles from park, 1 hour 15-minute drive)
Appreciate the great outdoors with this friendly walking festival. There are guided rambles, heritage strolls and family trails across the Wolds and coastal villages. Walks are graded from easy to challenging, so everyone can join in. Go wildlife spotting, with pub stops on route and plenty of fresh air.
October
Pickering Wartime Weekend
When: Mid-October 2026 (dates TBC, usually 3 days)
Where: Pickering, Goathland & Grosmont (NYMR Railway)
Nearest park: Blue Dolphin (20 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
Step back in time as Pickering and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway turn the clock to the 1940s. You’ll see steam trains, military vehicles, vintage fairs and villagers in period costume. Families love the parades, dances, and re-enactments spread along the heritage railway line. Pickering is under an hour from the coastal parks, so it’s an easy day trip. Book train rides in advance if you want to experience the full steam-era atmosphere.

Scarborough Sparkle
When: Late November 2026 (dates TBC)
Where: Scarborough Open Air Theatre, Burniston Road, YO12 6PF
Nearest park: Blue Dolphin (7 miles from park, 20-minute drive)
Kickstart your Yuletide at Scarborough Sparkle, a three-day Christmas lights and market festival. The event features craft stalls, live music, a lantern parade, and a giant illuminated wheel. It’s free to enter, and just minutes from all four Yorkshire Haven parks, so you can pop in more than once if you like. Kids will love the light trails and seasonal treats, while parents can stock up on Xmas gifts.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2032
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. An example of how “Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of a Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and inflation. The monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures. Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. Move your caravan to Haven for free - full terms and conditions
This offer is available for holiday home owners not located at a Haven park and that want to relocate their holiday home from their current holiday park a Haven holiday park, subject to pitch availability and the satisfactory completion of our standard onboarding checks. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, apart from the free 2026 site fee promotion if applicable to the Haven park. Haven reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.
In order to be eligible to participate in the offer, your holiday home must be situated within a 50-mile radius of the Haven park that you wish to relocate to. The holiday home must be no more than 15 years old from the date of manufacture and if it has been purchased under a finance agreement, the holiday homeowner must provide confirmation from their lender that the holiday home can be moved to the Haven park.
Haven will transport your holiday home from the entrance of its current holiday park location to the required Haven park and will reimburse your transportation costs up-to a maximum value of £750; any excess must be paid by the holiday homeowner. Haven does not accept any responsibility for any damage that happens to the interior of your holiday home whilst it is being transported to one of our holiday parks. We recommend your holiday home is fully packed down and ready for transportation. Transportation does not include decking. Any decking bought onto a Haven park must be approved by the General Manager of that park to ensure it meets Haven standards. Siting and connection costs for your holiday home on a Haven park will be paid for by Haven. Offer excludes payment of holiday home disconnection at your current park and transportation costs from its current pitch to the entrance of its current park.
