March

The Wizard of Oz at Venue Cymru
Where: Venue Cymru, Llandudno
When: 5-10 March
One of the most globally beloved musicals is hitting Llandudno in March. Coming directly from The London Palladium, The Wizard of Oz is arriving with baskets of their classic hits, and Toto of course!
Conwy Seed Fair
Where: High Street, Conwy
When: 26 March
Seeds, plants and plenty of honey, the 700-year-old Royal Charter Fair is here to provide you with all the local farmers’ market stalls and produce.
April

Pier2Pier Half Marathon
Where: Parc Eirias, Colwyn Bay
When: 14 April
Take a quick jog through some of the scenic parts of Colwyn Bay and Llandudno, or just watch people go for a sprint themselves! The Pier2Pier Half Marathon is a great day out for participants and non-participants.

Snowdonia Half Marathon
Where: Gwydir Park, Llanrwst, Conwy
When: 12 May
Set in the exhilarating Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, this scenic but tough half-marathon is here to challenge and excite participants. In a region of haunting beauty and grandeur, this half-marathon is sure to keep you on your toes, even as a spectator.
Trefiw Walking Festival
Where: Trefiw Village Hall, Trefiw
When: 17-19 May
Explore the stunning scenery, natural history, and human stories in this stunning region through different walks and experiences. There are trails for every level, so you can bring the whole family along.
June

Three Castle Trial
Where: Gwydir Park, Llanrwst, Conwy
When: 4-7 June
Grab a seat and pitch up to watch the grand Three Castle Trial, where classic cars will cover up to 500 miles of North Wales’ scenic roads. Starting in Llandudno, you’ll get to see plenty of classic cars setting off.
Llanrwst Rural Show
Where: Y Dolydd, Llanrwst, Conwy
When: 29 June
Attracting competitors from all over North Wales, the Rural agricultural show parades the crème de la creme of cattle, sheep, horses, fur and feather, as well as locally produced food and crafts.

Conwy River Festival
Where: Conwy Quay, LL32 8BB
When: 6 July
Conwy’s annual water festival is back again, and ready to bring fun and excitement over their two weekend races! From big boats and power sails to river racing in smaller boats, you’ll be cheering on these sailors.

Wild Wednesday at RSPB Conwy
Where: Gwydir Park, Llanrwst, Conwy
When: 16 August
Get your little ones stuck into the wildlife of the UK, and discover new habitats and exciting native birds to the UK. Filled with wildlife-inspired crafts and activities, you’re sure to learn a thing or two along with your little ones!
