Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and nature surrounding this challenging run over varied terrain, including sand, road and off road tracks with some steep sections of path. Although this is a regular event held on the 4th Sunday of the month from September to June, you can enjoy this track any day you want (just look up 'trust 10 Studland komoot'). Challenge yourself to a run across beach, public road, gravel and grass paths on your holiday!

Dorset Knob Throwing and Frome Valley Food Fest
When: May 3, 2026
Where: Kingston Maurward College, Dorchester DT2 8PY
Nearest parks: Seaview and Weymouth Bay (8 miles from parks, 15-minute drive)
It's as delightfully eccentric as it sounds! The Dorset Knob Throwing Festival honours the county's iconic crunchy biscuits (Dorset knobs) with a range of games – throwing, eating, and guessing their weight – along with sack races and welly wanging. Every contestant will get to throw three biscuits underarm and whoever throws the farthest wins!
The Frome Valley Food Fest takes place alongside, so you can indulge in local cheeses, ciders, and cakes in between events. It's tongue-in-cheek, daft, and utterly one-of-a-kind – and only 30 minutes from most Dorset parks.

Lyme Regis Fossil Festival
When: June 13-14th, 2026
Where: Lyme Regis DT7 3QD
Nearest parks: Littlesea, Seaview and Weymouth Bay (30 miles away from parks, 55-minute drive)
Dorset's Jurassic Coast is renowned globally for fossils, and the Lyme Regis Fossil Festival is the place to be. Look out for beach fossil hunts, specialist talks, craft sessions, and interactive science stands. Children can get their hands on actual fossils and meet paleontologists, while adults can indulge in the food stalls and coastal walks. For serious collectors or those who just enjoy a good treasure hunt, this is seaside fun in its purest form. Only just over an hour from the parks, it's well worth the journey for a day of discovery.
Poole Harbour Boat Show
When: June 7–9, 2026
Where: Poole Quay, Poole BH15 1HJ
Nearest park: Rockley Park (two miles from park, nine-minute drive)
With Rockley Park virtually on the doorstep, this free event is a June must. Poole Harbour Boat Show pulls together everything from lavish yachts to water sports for all the family. There are on-the-water demonstrations, live music, street food, and activities for children. Even if you're not nautical, the atmosphere is great. Picture a lively quayside, glistening water and top grub. It's also an ideal opportunity to visit Poole's shops and historic old town while you're in the area.

Weymouth Beach Volleyball Classic
When: July 18–20, 2026
Where: Weymouth Beach, Weymouth DT4 7AN
Nearest park: Weymouth Bay (three miles from park, eight-minute drive)
Bang in the middle of summer, Weymouth Beach becomes a world-class volleyball stadium. The Weymouth Beach Volleyball Classic brings together leading UK and international teams, with action-packed matches taking place just metres away from the sea.
There's music, commentary, and a party atmosphere, and you can always take a dip in the water between matches. Whether you're supporting courtside or relaxing nearby with an ice cream, it's one of the most vibrant weekends of the year in Weymouth.

Camp Bestival Dorset
When: August 1-4, 2026
Where: Lulworth Castle, East Lulworth BH20 5QS
Nearest park: Seaview (13 miles from park, 30-minute drive)
One of the UK's most popular family festivals, Camp Bestival combines top music acts with children's theatre, comedy, workshops, and all manner of outdoor activity. Expect rainbow-coloured tents, dressing up, midnight campfires, and a multitude of food stalls to satisfy all appetites. The location, beautiful Lulworth Castle grounds, adds to the magic. Day tickets go quickly, so get ahead and make it the highlight of your summer break.

Dorset County Show
When: September 5–6, 2026
Where: Dorchester Showground, Dorchester DT2 7SD
Nearest park: Seaview (9 miles from park, 20-minute drive)
This classic agricultural show has been running for over 180 years, and it's still one of the highlights of the Dorset year. Keep an eye out for prize cattle, flower shows, craft stalls, food marquees, and arena displays ranging from showjumping to dog agility.
There's a wonderful mix of tradition and entertainment, with something for every age, and plenty of opportunities to sample local food. Just a short drive from Weymouth and the surrounding parks, it's an easy and rewarding day out.

Bournemouth Arts by the Sea Festival
When: October 3–12, 2026
Where: Bournemouth Town Centre, BH2 5AA
Nearest park: Rockley Park (eight miles from park, 30-minute drive)
Bournemouth's annual Arts by the Sea Festival turns the streets, gardens, and beaches into a stage with music, dance, theatre and visual arts. Keep an eye out for stunning light installations, quirky performances, and pop-up events that will amaze and delight.
It's a fantastic way to see Bournemouth differently, whether you're wandering through the Lower Gardens or catching a performance on the pier. The mix of creativity and seaside charm makes it a brilliant autumn treat.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2032
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. An example of how “Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of a Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and inflation. The monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures. Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. Move your caravan to Haven for free - full terms and conditions
This offer is available for holiday home owners not located at a Haven park and that want to relocate their holiday home from their current holiday park a Haven holiday park, subject to pitch availability and the satisfactory completion of our standard onboarding checks. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, apart from the free 2026 site fee promotion if applicable to the Haven park. Haven reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.
In order to be eligible to participate in the offer, your holiday home must be situated within a 50-mile radius of the Haven park that you wish to relocate to. The holiday home must be no more than 15 years old from the date of manufacture and if it has been purchased under a finance agreement, the holiday homeowner must provide confirmation from their lender that the holiday home can be moved to the Haven park.
Haven will transport your holiday home from the entrance of its current holiday park location to the required Haven park and will reimburse your transportation costs up-to a maximum value of £750; any excess must be paid by the holiday homeowner. Haven does not accept any responsibility for any damage that happens to the interior of your holiday home whilst it is being transported to one of our holiday parks. We recommend your holiday home is fully packed down and ready for transportation. Transportation does not include decking. Any decking bought onto a Haven park must be approved by the General Manager of that park to ensure it meets Haven standards. Siting and connection costs for your holiday home on a Haven park will be paid for by Haven. Offer excludes payment of holiday home disconnection at your current park and transportation costs from its current pitch to the entrance of its current park.
