St Piran’s Day Celebrations (Perranporth & county-wide)
When: Thursday 5 March 2026 (some parades the closest weekend)

Nearest park: Perran Sands (0.5 miles from park, four-minute drive)
Cornwall’s national day is full of black-and-white flags, music and smiles. If you’re near Perran Sands, don’t miss the open-air St Piran Play across the dunes to the ancient Oratory – it’s a short stroll from the park and very family-friendly. Elsewhere, towns like Redruth and Truro put on parades and stalls, so there’s always something close by.

Porthleven Food Festival
When: 24-26 April 2026
Where: Harbour Head, Porthleven, Helston, TR13 9JY
Nearest park: Riviere Sands (12.5 miles away from park, 25-minute drive)
Three tasty days around Porthleven’s harbour with chef demos, street food, live music and plenty for the kids to do. Look out for kids’ cookery tents and harbourside craft stalls between sets. It’s free in the daytime, so you can wander the quays, graze from stalls and watch cooking shows without rushing. Evening sessions often need tickets, so check the programme once dates drop. From either park, you can be at the harbour in under an hour – perfect for a foodie afternoon by the sea.

Helston Flora Day
When: Friday 8 May 2026
Where: Helston town centre (starts around the Guildhall, TR13 8ST)
Nearest park: Riviere Sands (12.5 miles away from park, 25-minute drive)
One of Cornwall’s most famous days out: bands play, houses wear greenery and the traditional Furry Dances weave right through town. The midday dance is the show-stopper, but get in early to see the children’s dance too. Roads close and it gets busy, so arrive early or use public transport where you can. A brilliant slice of Cornish culture within easy reach of Perran Sands and Riviere Sands.

Tunes in the Dunes (Perranporth Beach)
When: 5–7 June 2026
Where: The Watering Hole, Perranporth Beach, 19 St Pirans Rd, TR6 0BH
Nearest park: Perran Sands (1.7 miles from park, six-minute drive)
A sand-between-your-toes music festival right on Perranporth Beach. There’s a big main stage, daytime fun, and after-parties back at The Watering Hole. Under-18s can come with a parent/guardian, which makes it a handy pick if you’re staying at Perran Sands – you can even walk from the park at low tide. Bring layers for breezy evenings and expect epic sunsets behind the stage.

Rock Oyster Festival (near Rock/Wadebridge)
When: 23–26 July 2026
Where: Dinham House Estate, St Minver, Wadebridge, PL27 6RH
Nearest park: Perran Sands (27 miles from park, 45-minute drive)
Food meets music at this chilled, family-friendly weekender on the Camel Estuary. Think chef demos, feasts, paddleboarding, wellness sessions and a cracking line-up across multiple stages. It’s a gorgeous drive from both parks and easy to pair with a day on the beach at Daymer Bay or Polzeath. Camping and day tickets are available, but day-tripping from your caravan or lodge works a treat.

Boardmasters (Newquay)
When: 5–9 August 2026
Where: Watergate Bay (Trebelsue Farm, TR8 4AN) & Fistral Beach, TR7 1HY
Nearest park: Perran Sands (11 miles from park, 23-minute drive)
Cornwall’s big surf-and-music festival takes over Newquay each August. Catch world-class surfing for free at Fistral by day, then head to Watergate Bay (ticketed) for the live music into the evening. Families often dip into the beachside action and avoid late finishes – a nice balance if you’ve got little ones. Shuttle options run locally; parking at Watergate Bay is limited, so plan ahead.

St Ives September Festival
When: 12-26 September 2026
Where: Various venues across St Ives; Guildhall, Street-an-Pol, TR26 2DS
Nearest park: Riviere Sands (8.5 miles away from park, 20-minute drive)
Two weeks of live music, talks, art, films and guided walks across beautiful St Ives. Headline shows usually take place at the Guildhall or St Ives Theatre, with plenty of free fringe events in galleries and pubs. It’s a lovely way to explore the town once summer crowds ease off a little.

Ice Skating at the Eden Project (winter season)
When: Typically starts mid-October (2025/26 opened 18 Oct 2025; 2026 dates TBC)
Where: Eden Project, Bodelva, PL24 2SG
Nearest park: Perran Sands (25 miles from park, 40-minute drive)
Swap flip-flops for skates – Cornwall’s only seasonal ice rink returns in autumn and runs into the new year. Sessions suit all ages (including family and toddler slots), and it’s easy to mix with a wander around the biomes or a hot chocolate stop. Pre-book popular weekend times if you’re visiting during half-term. Many events are dog-friendly; check venue policies and tide times for beach walks.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2032
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Victory Ashberry 3 Bed or equivalent grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. An example of how “Make no site fee payments until 2032 when using Let2offset” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of a Victory Ashberry 3 Bed holiday home at Seton Sands with a monthly site fee of £667.08 (includes purchasing discount of £17.08) and monthly letting income of £673.17. The monthly difference equates to £23.17, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and inflation. The monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2025 figures. Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Victory Ashberry 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. Move your caravan to Haven for free - full terms and conditions
This offer is available for holiday home owners not located at a Haven park and that want to relocate their holiday home from their current holiday park a Haven holiday park, subject to pitch availability and the satisfactory completion of our standard onboarding checks. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, discount or promotion, apart from the free 2026 site fee promotion if applicable to the Haven park. Haven reserves the right to withdraw this offer at any time without notice.
In order to be eligible to participate in the offer, your holiday home must be situated within a 50-mile radius of the Haven park that you wish to relocate to. The holiday home must be no more than 15 years old from the date of manufacture and if it has been purchased under a finance agreement, the holiday homeowner must provide confirmation from their lender that the holiday home can be moved to the Haven park.
Haven will transport your holiday home from the entrance of its current holiday park location to the required Haven park and will reimburse your transportation costs up-to a maximum value of £750; any excess must be paid by the holiday homeowner. Haven does not accept any responsibility for any damage that happens to the interior of your holiday home whilst it is being transported to one of our holiday parks. We recommend your holiday home is fully packed down and ready for transportation. Transportation does not include decking. Any decking bought onto a Haven park must be approved by the General Manager of that park to ensure it meets Haven standards. Siting and connection costs for your holiday home on a Haven park will be paid for by Haven. Offer excludes payment of holiday home disconnection at your current park and transportation costs from its current pitch to the entrance of its current park.
