Water parks in Blackpool

Located at our Marton Mere Holiday Park, the Splash Zone is a paradise for kids and adults who refuse to grow up. With interactive features and fun slides, it’s a great place to spend a grey afternoon.  

If the weather’s good, the lazy river ride heads outside for more fun in the sun.

Touted as the UK's largest indoor waterpark, Sandcastle boasts over 18 rides and attractions. From the nerve-wracking Master Blaster to the soothing Sea Breeze Spa, there’s something here for everyone. 

It’s a large facility, very family friendly, loud, and lively - a quiet day out this isn’t!

A gem in the Haven holiday parks family, this indoor pool offers a fantastic water experience with slides and splash areas tailored for the little ones.  

Set in a bright glasshouse, the pool contains a Jacuzzi and waterslide, and there’s an outdoor Splash Zone with fountains for the little ones too.

This isn’t your traditional Blackpool water park. Instead, this one’s for adrenaline junkies with inflatable assault courses, kayaking, or wakeboarding attached to a cable line that will put you through your paces.  

Don’t worry if you’re entirely new to these – there are plenty of classes you can book, too. If you prefer something gentler, why not tour the scenic lakes on a paddleboard?

Located at the YMCA centre in nearby Fleetwood, Splash offers a fun swimming experience with special fun sessions for the little ones, complete with inflatables and toys. Romp in fountains, water jets and tunnels, while the littlest kids can paddle in safe shallow areas.  

The YMCA offers swimming lessons too, and SwimFit training sessions for the adults.

Head to nearby Bispham for its popular gym and recently refurbished pool facilities. Beyond its comprehensive fitness facilities, this leisure centre has a splendid full-sized pool for both serious swimmers and those just looking to splash about.

Found on south shore near the library of the same name, the Palatine features a fantastic swimming pool, diving area, and specialised sessions. Palatine is a hotspot for sports enthusiasts of all ages and disciplines, from swimmers to squash or badminton players. 

For those looking to learn, there’s an extensive program of swim classes from total beginners to experts, with aqua aerobics and lane swimming equally promoted.
