Three things to do on a weekend in Norfolk
1. Spend the day in Gorleston
With its promenade and beach, Gorleston is a lovely place to spend the day. The pretty beach here is a magnet for water sport enthusiasts, but if you’re looking for a more relaxed way to spend your day, you’ll often find entertainment to sit back and enjoy on the bandstand.
2. Visit Great Yarmouth
This hub of action is located close to our Norfolk parks, and offers plenty of entertainment options. Go penguin feeding at Sea Life, enjoy classic thrill-seeking rides at Joyland and Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach, or head to the Hippodrome Circus to watch some death defying stunts!
3. Walk the Norfolk Broads
The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads are home to seven rivers and more than 125 miles of navigable waterways. A haven for a range of wildlife species, it’s a beautiful place to explore. The Burgh Castle Walk offers views over Halvergate Marshes and Breydon Water.
