Three of the best beaches in Dorset
1. Lulworth Cove, near West Lulworth
This spectacular beach is a real highlight of the Jurassic Coast and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famed for its horseshoe-shaped cove, it's a wonderful spot for the whole family and the dog (in designated areas). People come here to swim, take a boat trip, or find our more about its incredible beauty at the Heritage Centre.
2. Bowleaze Cove, near Weymouth
On the outskirts of Weymouth you'll find Bowleaze Cove - located close to our Weymouth Bay and Seaview holiday parks. There are wonderful walks to Weymouth, safe areas for swimming, and an entertainment complex with an ice-cream parlour and amusements.
3. Swanage Beach, Swanage
This sandy Blue Flag beach has a winning combination of picture perfect beach with plenty of amenities close by. You'll find seasonal lifeguards on duty while you enjoy a splash in the sea, and you can take a break from sunbathing in Swanage's beach huts, cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops.
