Top 5 things to do near Far Grange and on park
Michaela McDonald is General Manager and Harriet Furness is Head of Experience at Far Grange in Yorkshire. They love the leisurely feel and the friendly community on this owners-only park, and told us the top five things to enjoy and explore during a break here.
1. Go fish!

We have a fishing lake and an angling club on park, which holds proper competitions. We spent £5000 on fish in 2022 and have a mixture of them. We work really closely with the environmental agency to keep our fishing lake to that standard. It’s an eco-hub really for wildlife and fish.
2. Explore Yorkshire

We’re about 15-20 minutes away from the historic town of Beverley, which is also home to Beverley Races. If you come out of the park and take a left you end up at Beverley and Hull and Hornsea, if you take a right you end up going into Bridlington, which is about 20 minutes away.
3. Take a walk on the wild side

We have miles of walks all the way around the park. You can go for a walk at the dog-friendly beach, walk around our lovely lakes area, and the woodland and forest. In fact we had some owners who have been here for five or six years come on a winter walk and they didn’t realise all of the routes that existed. I think people are surprised by how big the park and the walking area is.
Our lakes area is like a woodland escape. We’ve also got a fairy walk there – the team have really put a lot into keeping that going, with little fairy houses that we change seasonally – so at Christmas there’s elves, at Halloween there’s spider webs and pumpkins.
4. Play golf

You must become a member (fees apply) and play golf because we’ve got a Golf England standard golf course. We’re the only Links golf course at a Haven park. There’s also a golf club with a bar there and we have a live singer there every Friday night during main season!
5. Join the community

Definitely come along to our events and activities so that you get to know other owners, and feel part of the community.
In our licensed lounge area, we do loads of events. There’s something called the Friday Night Soiree where sometimes have visiting food trucks, like wood-fired pizzas and pies. We do quizzes in there, we do pamper evenings, We’ve got lots of things to do.
What do you love about Far Grange?
There’s a real sense of community here, it’s like one big family!

Let2own is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
Let2own no site fees payment until 2030 is available at Blue Dolphin, Berwick, Caister-on-Sea, Cala Gran, Combe Haven, Craig Tara, Devon Cliffs, Golden Sands, Haggerston Castle, Hafan y Mor, Kiln Park, Littlesea, The Orchards, Presthaven, Perran Sands, Primrose Valley, Seashore, Wild Duck and Skegness. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. It is not applicable to part-exchanges or private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. It is available across 40% of eligible Parks and applies when letting a new Atlas Chorus 3 Bed holiday home for 15 weeks.
An example of how “Make no site fee payments when using Let2own until 2030” operates under Let2own is the purchase of an Atlas Chorus 3 Bed holiday home at Primrose Valley with a monthly site fee of £642.50 and monthly letting income of £759.25. The monthly difference equates to £116.75, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and the monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2023 figures.
Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Atlas Chorus 3 Bed indicate that under Let2own it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed.
