Sussex combines picturesque coastline with rolling countryside, producing not only a great place to holiday, but one of the best places to live in Britain.

There’s always something new to discover along this special stretch of the south coast, and to whet your appetite, let’s take you through five reasons to buy a static caravan in Sussex.

1. Two great locations to choose from

1. Two great locations to choose from

We have both sides of Sussex covered by our holiday parks in the county. In the west, you’ll find Church Farm, located close to the scenic Pagham Harbour, and the coastal village it’s named after. Combine this with the fact that Bognor Regis is a short drive and you’re onto a winner. Combe Haven Holiday Park is in St-Leonards-on-Sea, close to historic Hastings and a number of great beaches. Both parks have fantastic transport links, making them as convenient as they are quality.

2. All the amenities you need

Sussex is as well-connected as it is beautiful, blending its natural surroundings with modern comforts to create the perfect place for a second home.

The towns and villages that dot Sussex’s landscape are full of things that supplement your lifestyle by the sea. There are loads of ways to get involved in the community in both Pagham and St Leonards-on-Sea.

Whichever Haven location takes your preference, it’s also handy to know that Brighton is a convenient journey from either. The biggest city in Sussex, it hosts the likes of Sussex County Cricket Club and Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club. Both host cricket and football fixtures throughout their respective seasons so they’re definitely worth a look for the sporty ones in the family to enjoy.

4. Scenic by the sea

It goes without saying that the south coast offers some of the finest seaside scenery in Britain, epitomised by what Sussex has to offer. Beautiful beaches are along every stretch, perfect places for making memories that last a lifetime with the family.

Whether it’s a sandy space that’s full of facilities, or somewhere off the beaten track to let the dog run loose, you’re never too far away as an owner at Church Farm or Combe Haven holiday parks.

Hastings: history and heritage in a special town

You’re never short of something to do with the family and friends in Hastings, making it the perfect place to head to when you host guests at your very own caravan. Known as 1066 Country after the famous Battle of Hastings, the area is a hub of music, theatre and art throughout the year, and there are so many events to get every generation involved in.

The Bognor Regis area is full of seaside fun, with places like Alexandra Theatre hosting regular performances, and Bognor Pier providing everything needed for a great time, every time.
