Seashore Holiday Park

The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The caravan wasn’t very clean on our arrival, however I completed the arrival questionnaire and within 10 minutes I had a call and then within another 10 the cleaners were at our caravan to rectify any issues. They did and were very pleasant whilst doing so. The pool is fantastic and the beach is lovely too. The activities could of been spaced out better though only some were on at the same time or finished to late for you to get to other activities and they were all only on once so you couldn’t book on an alternative day. They said this was as it was out of season time but last year at Hopton there was loads more choice and things were on more than once enabling you to book an alternative day should activity times clash. The shop on site is good and has pretty much everything you need but somethings are pricey. Great little train ride from the site that runs upto the pier. The pier was nice with lots of places to eat. Overall we enjoyed our stay though 😊👍 I must add that security do a fantastic job!!

We stayed at seashore for a weekend we normally do about 3 haven holidays a year with our 2 little boys never had any issues but we have never done seashore.! Arrived onsite straight to the caravan when we went inside it smelt so strong of weed it was horrific so I opened all the windows hoping it would pass , the caravan looked like it had seen better days all the walls marked chipped , the blonde in the bedroom broke letting all the light in ,the carpet from the hall to the Kitchin had come out of the bar so within 15 mins of being in there my little boy went flying over the carpet I went to the office to explain about the smell and what had just happened I was informed we have no other carvans to offer you other than a dog friendly one which I declined my 4 year old is asthmatic so I definitely don’t want to be putting him in a dog van . They sent someone from maintenance he hadn’t even got to the top of the stairs and he could smell how strong it was he was offended 2 choices one was a plug in or a Oder bomb but we would have to leave the carvan and not return for a few hours not ideal we had just arrived also they could confirm that it would be ok for my son to come back into so I didn’t fill like I had a choice I went for the plug in as that’s all we had . We tried to make the best of the crappy situation we was there with 3 other family’s( their vans lovely booked the same day and paid the same amount ??)so we tried to get out as much as possible as the smell was still so strong and didn’t actually go completely untill the Sunday night (we go home Monday morning ) we also had trouble with the lock on the bathroom door we couldn’t get into it at all so again had to call someone in he broke the lock so we could use the bathroom but didn’t fix it just left it broke so couldn’t lock it , we finally had a evening in now the smell had gone on the Sunday but even that was short lived the sofa was broke so no one could sit on it , we had to use our friends shower as ours kept filling up so would flood the bathroom the whole caravan needed flattening it was so grubby I really liked the site but accommodation has put me off completely and the way it was handled the maintenance men was nice and completely understood our frustration but office just didn’t want to know even when checking out and telling them about the sofa the main juts said ok and wrote it down no oh I’m sorry bla bla bla nothing could care less we was going home so disappointed in haven at this time and I’m not sure I would use them again now

Just got back from a night holiday. Best haven we’ve stayed at. The park is clean and has everything you need. The pool is awesome too. Kids were gutted when we had to leave. Definitely would go again. All it’s missing is an outdoor pool and it would be perfect

Caravan not the cleanest on arrival. Wiped everything myself. Sofa absolutely filthy. Kids couldnt even sit on it without freaking out. Shower broken and daughter didn't have a duvet cover.. noticed at 10pm first night. Kettle broke. I reported the next morning and they sorted it out. Beds very uncomfortable and springs sticking out mattresses. We put duvets on top of them and used blankets as covers. Bedroom way too small and beds so thin. Double room nice and big with ensuite. Carpet all stained though. The arcade is not the greatest. Go into Greay Yarmouth on bus or train for better arcades and Pleasure beach was amazing. Nisa shop on site is really good also! Restaurant food is nice. Although some staff need manners. I asked for some chicken well done then it came out and it was soggy and pale. The waiter said to me 'what you want me to burn it' I said sorry I just asked for it more cooked than you'd normally do. I told him to forget it and he walked away. Great location on the beachfront too. Still over priced for what it is.

We stayed at Seashore Haven from Saturday to Monday and overall had a fantastic holiday. The caravan was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy, and the whole park was clean, well-maintained, and had a lovely atmosphere. The water park was brilliant and one of the highlights of our stay. The facilities throughout the park were clean, and there was plenty to do. The arcade was great, the Papa John's was really good, and the cake shop was amazing – the doughnuts were delicious! We also really enjoyed the activities , and the views around the park were lovely. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of our experience at the Coast House restaurant. Unfortunately, the customer service from some of the staff let the holiday down. They came across as rude and unhelpful, and when I pointed out that there was eggshell in my breakfast and that the bacon was burnt, they didn't seem interested in resolving the issue or making things right. Another disappointing moment was at breakfast when I ordered two coffees while looking after my baby. I politely asked if someone could help carry them to my table because I couldn't safely carry both coffees and my child at the same time, but I was simply told no. A small act of kindness would have made a big difference. Apart from the Coast House restaurant experience, everything else was excellent. We'd happily return to Seashore Haven, but I hope the customer service in the restaurant improves, as it's the only thing that stopped this being a 5-star stay.
