Family escape on the Somerset coast...

With a climbing wall, ropes course and boating, our buzzy park is just made for outdoorsy families. But because the action is spread out among trees and water, there's a lovely feeling of escape here. Just hop across the road to a beach - and walk along the sand to Burnham-on-Sea. Or stay on the park for fresh fish and chips - we're adding a new takeaway for 2015*.

Somerset – laidback and lovely

This county is famous for its seaside towns and we reckon Weston-super-Mare is the best of the bunch. It has a pier, aquarium and donkey rides - so there's plenty to do whatever the weather.
