Caister-on-Sea Holiday Park

We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Caister Haven Holiday Park. Our caravan was lovely, clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to get around the park. There was plenty to keep the children entertained throughout our stay, and we were pleasantly surprised that the prices for food, drinks, and activities weren’t too expensive. A very special shoutout goes to Petra in the Live Lounge. She was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly attentive and couldn’t do enough to help, even though she was often the only member of staff working the floor and running drinks. Despite how busy she was, she always came back with a smile, made time for everyone, and provided outstanding customer service. She genuinely went above and beyond every evening and made our experience even better. Petra deserves to be recognised for all of her hard work and dedication. She’s a real credit to the park and, in our opinion, definitely deserves a pay rise! Staff like her are the reason guests have such a positive experience. Thank you for a wonderful holiday—we’ll definitely be back!

We booked this caravan park by using installment since last year and it turned out alright no fuss. Payment was easy no additional interest fee on top. Although what panic me was we have no control about the unit location and as if we wanted to secure the best site we have to make extra payment to choose whichever we wanted 7 days before arrival date. As current economy and family burden we didn’t pay extra for all the luxury instead we rang to customer service asking for guidance and they were very helpful -Jackie. We were being assigned on a unit which was far away from everything but just a stone throw to the caister beach which I found that was a blessing. Unit 44 caister was tiny, but enough for a family of 3. Albeit next to the recycle bins collection but not much hassles compared to the fact was this unit was being covered with seagulls poos everywhere on windows, door screens etc. The unit was quite dated, sofa cushion and all furniture had odors. Kettle was leaking and two ring hobs cannot functioned properly. Bathroom silicone filled with black mould and after shower stepped out the vinyl flooring will be like flooded. Other than that, all mattresses were thin but able to use. Checked in /out was incredibly easy, no long queue just drive through with handed over key or a box collected key back on checkout ! Thank you for the entertainment team, soft play, playground and the kid bungee jump the black guy worker, he was way so positive and can tell he enjoyed his job a lot, well done! Thank you for the swimming safeguard and arrangement with water slide, thanks for keeping your eyes and whistles!

First week of peak time but very disappointing overall. The caravan was lovely, good quality site but that is where it ended. Got the haven pass but not exactly sure what the benefit to that was. 3, 1 hour sessions of swimming for the week and access to the live lounge "entertainment". What happened to the kids club? Went to perren sands 2 years ago and although we had to stay with the kids they at least had childrens entertainment during the day. Of an evening the entertainment considered of bingo or bingo, which you had to pay to join in so completely negated the Haven passes you pay for in the first place. Pay to enter, pay to play, absolute rip off. I remember the kids club, childrens entertainment, certificates it was all about the children, we left 2 of the 4 days to explore because there was nothing on site. Then there was the part, lots of children and 1 way up to the slide, children queuing, bugger kids pushing little ones out the way, it is just not big enough for the amount of children they have. Then the service, went to the treat snack twice, debated going in and doing it myself as the service was so slow. Then paid £22 for a mixed grill in the mash & Barrell, the only thing med rare about the stake was the labelled stick they put in it, could count the number of chips on my hand. Overall very disappointed, seems Haven is not about the children anymore unless you pay extra to do the trampoline, cars and everything else not included in those pointless passes

Stayed for the weekend for my daughter's birthday had a hideaway, and may I say didn't disappoint the caravan was definitely a hideaway and made us want to come and try the activities next time. The park is a quiet park I don't know if that was because of the time of year we went however I think the park is lovely and quiet, and has everything you need centre to one bit in the middle of the park. Flat ground so it's absolutely brilliant if you are disabled and unable to walk that far, wheelchair user or if you are using a pram. The park has lots to offer and its super clean, well looked after and a lovely location and we will definitely be back 😁

Thanks to Ally(Owners Activities Coordinator) for her great hospitality and kindness, seems shes a popular face around the park greeting everyone and putting smiles on everyones faces. Even caught her on our way out and had a nice quick talk. Our caravan was super clean and brilliant for the 2 of us but would easily be enough for a few more people. We went for the saver caravan and you wouldn't of known it costed us less than 100 for the week. So close to such a beautiful beach. Oven was clean and had all the dishes and cooking stuff. The restaurant is affordable and very nice food, the arcade is fun and a good time passer. The nisa local isn't too badly priced I expected and have seen worse. Crazy pool wasn't the greatest for the price but still didnt hurt trying it, crazy golf was nice. all the activities we didnt do looked fun! Definitely get a play pass. Swimming was fun, wasn't the craziest out of all the havens parks but the pool was warm and lovely. The slide was pretty fun. The swim shop was nicely priced, its worth getting a beach ball for £3.99. Brilliant stay away from home, I 100% recommend to anyone thinking about staying. Great for couples, family's and friends. Pet friendly!
