We were highly disappointed with our stay this time! We have been coming to haven sites for years and have never had an experience like this. The cleanliness of the caravans was SHOCKING! Because of our experience last year which my partner left a review for we rebooked this site and we were excited for our holiday. However after paying for early check in on our bronze caravan we arrived at the caravan to what looked like they had only made the beds and put toilet roll in the bathrooms, nothing else had been done. The floor was dirty and after 10 minutes of my son being in the caravan his feet and our socks where black. The sides and part of the sofa were sticky and had marks. There was not enough cutlery, food on the floor, rubbish under beds, socks and pants left, dirty bedding, unclean showers and a sick like liquid in the bin. With a child who has immune issues there was no way I was allowing this. I spoke to reception and they wanted to send someone out to re clean however if they cannot do the job the first time I was reluctant to have this so I spoke to a manager and we were given a different caravan (silver) after a bit of putting our foot down. We accepted this caravan as it was cleaner than the previous one but still wasn’t great it hadn’t been hoovered, beds weren’t made and there was no toilet roll and I cleaned everything down as was then concerned. When returning the keys for the first caravan we stood in the queue waiting and there was 5+ people complaining about the same thing we had experienced one persons comment was “I’d rather sleep in my car than that caravan” which is just horrendous. We did get the early check in refunded as we didn’t get into our new caravan until after 4 but I don’t feel like I want to return to this site.

Recently stayed here for the week, in Epsom 20, we've been many times before, sadly it will probably the last. Now we have a dog thought it would be nice to take her along, however could only book Bronze accommodation, so ended up at the backside of the site. People speeding up and down throwing stuff at the caravans at about 1am in the morning (not just ours, many caravans on our road). Ordered food via the Haven app, for 7.45pm, food didn't turn up, gave it till 8.10pm then had to go up to the Burger King and show them my receipt, they hadn't even done the £51 order. So I then had to wait another 10mins for tbe food to be cooked and packed up. Not once was there any kind of apology. Dont bother using the app for deliveries, waste of time. Then we have the site, its in beautiful surroundings and is kept lovely, credit to the place. Then there's the parking, when you pay for parking near your caravan you don't expect to have to park over 500yds away from it, having to maul luggage to and from the car, yet the neighboring caravan had 2 vehicles parked up where i assume our car was meant to be parked. Then the delightful neighbours proceeded to smoke weed and sit by the front of our caravan because it had a tree for shade during the heatwave, aswell as the kids kicking footballs against ours and others (shock, not their own). To be honest glad to be home. Location of the Haven site is a real redeeming feature, but sadly let down by this trips experience. Note to anyone else, book silver or above if you can, youre not treated like something on the bottom of Havens shoe.

Extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service and follow-up I have stayed with Haven many times in the past. To be honest, I have never expected luxury or particularly high standards, especially when it comes to cleanliness. In fact, after previous experiences, I routinely bring my own cleaning supplies and clean the caravan before settling in. This time, however, cleanliness was not the main issue. The real problem was the staff's complete failure to resolve reported issues and the total lack of communication after I submitted an official complaint. The issue may sound minor at first. On the day of arrival, I asked reception to replace a frying pan because the one provided was in such poor condition that I genuinely felt it should have been thrown away. Nothing happened. The following day, I politely returned to reception to remind them. At the same time, I requested additional pillows after discovering, at midnight, that there were not enough for all guests. Again, I waited patiently. Again, nothing happened. The sofa bed was another surprise. Although the booking was for five people, it had not been made up and there was no bedding on it. Fortunately, I found some clean sheets left outside a nearby unit and used those. At the time, I simply thought that perhaps Haven's standards had dropped even further than I had expected. I was prepared to let all of this go until the day of departure, when I spoke with a member of the cleaning team. I asked whether it was normal for a caravan to be missing basic essentials such as toilet paper and bin liners. She looked genuinely surprised and told me that it absolutely was not. I then asked whether the sofa bed should have been prepared and made up before arrival. The answer was exactly what you would expect: yes, it should have been. At that point, I had had enough and went straight to reception to make an official complaint. The receptionist asked whether I had reported the other issues during my stay. I explained that after my very first request regarding the frying pan had been completely ignored, I had little confidence that any further issues would be dealt with. Spending my holiday repeatedly chasing basic necessities in 35°C heat was not how I wanted to spend my time. My holiday ended two weeks ago. Despite being assured by reception that somebody would contact me regarding my complaint, I have not received a single phone call, email, or any other form of communication. The missing items and maintenance issues themselves were frustrating, but mistakes happen. What is far more disappointing is the complete lack of response, accountability, and customer care from Haven.

Bank holiday weekend, 3 night stay. We stayed in a Bronze caravan and honestly it was a nice surprise. Plenty of space, decent facilities including smart tv, dishwasher and en suite loo! One down side was a very busted sofa with springs coming through. The main hub was nice. Very clean and tidy, nice facilities again. We enjoyed the arcades and evenings in the club house. Great bingo and kids entertainment. Drinks expensive! Mash n barrel we ate at several times and I have mixed feelings. The service was good and menu had lots of options but food is always lukewarm. Definitely needs to be hotter. Overall a great stay, would come again especially as there’s so much to do in the local area for families. We felt we needed longer! Lovely 10-15 minute walk to the Bea h for ice cream 🍨
