    Why you'll love Hopton...

Hopton is a heavenly place to escape to on the Norfolk coast. Direct beach access, one pool with water slides and palm tree fountains and a second simple pool for a relaxed swim, plus a family amusement centre and Inflatable Arena makes the park an amazing place to treat the family. There is everything you need for a seaside staycation, including a Cook’s fish and chips takeaway, a modern Marina Lounge entertainment venue, sizeable supermarket and a packed activity schedule. Plus, opening in spring 2026, we're adding a brand-new J D Wetherspoon pub.

As much as I enjoyed my stay, I did experience some negatives that did affect my stay. It is a very lovely place for a little break but I don’t think I’d stay again. I would recommend if you have little ones! Cons: • When we arrived, we got told the caravan was ready, when we arrived it hasn’t been cleaned at all and there still items left over by previous people. •We had to wait around 2.5 hours for the caravan to be ready but we were given some coupons to make up for it as an apology. •I was looking around the van when we finally got in and when I looked in a drawer with the hospitality hair dryer and I noticed a dead tick next to the hairdryer and it threw me off from using any other items in the caravan. (I added a photo I took and circled around the tick) •On my first night I noticed on the bedding there was dried blood on the sheets which was not mine. Pros: •The beach was very accessible and very beautiful. •The arcade had a wide range of games so that was very fun. •Staff were very kind and helpful towards us and answered our questions to their best ability. •Food was good and a reasonable price.

Okay, I'll start with the positives: Very easy arrival, no queues. Great location for the beach and excursions further afield. Very well thought out entertainment areas. Fairly reasonably priced food depending what you go for and a good choice and convenient. Loads to do on site. Arcades and shop were handy and close by. Very attentive staff and friendly. Bedding was pristine. Beds comfortable. Now the negatives: Caravan floors not clean enough. Found a pair of pants in a draw! also at the back of a kitchen cupboard I discovered a very old, hard choc chip brioche bun 🤔 When using the equipment in the kitchen there were a few unclean items, including the masher and grater. The microwave had a damaged button. We reported to reception that the floors were not clean as my crawling grandson had only been there 10 minutes and his knees and hands were mucky. They were very efficient and sent some cleaning staff to mop and hoover, who were very apologetic and welcoming. Issue resolved. I would 100% recommend staying at this Haven holiday, we all had a brilliant time making precious family memories.

Views are incredible first and foremost. Caravan on first entry was clean and smelt fresh. Our little one loved how close our caravan was to the play park as well as the beach which was about a two minute walk. Haven has a very relaxing feel to it especially in terms of the entertainment and activities, our daughter spent a bit of time in the entertainment venue and the staff there were friendly and nice to her, which was fantastic! We all loved swimming and appreciate the limit on how many people at once are allowed in the pool which meant we had a wonderful time in there. The White Clover restaurant is incredibly tasty with very reasonable prices. Arcades and soft play were visited every day. We went outside the resort a couple of times but felt nice coming back to the caravan in the evening after a nice day and plenty to do around haven, including other arcades and entertainment bits. Only downside is we had to come home and back to normality again, we're already looking at booking again and taking more of the family with us. Thank you very much Haven for a wonderful holiday.

Our first visit in Haven and also in May half term. The price is good value considering school holidays. The caravan is very clean and updated. The beds are very comfortable. There were USB charging sockets on the wall. Our caravan is near a playground and beach so it’s convenient for the kids. The swimming pool is not like those ones in Centre Parks, there is only one flume and not suitable for our kids. But they are still happy to go every day. The staffs are friendly. Soft play area is pretty small. Burger King, Fish and chips and pubs on site.

Hopton is a lovely park but it is a big park! Few small parks located round the site. We stayed in a Gold dog friendly caravan, Wentworth 10 which wasn't the layout we expected from the images of the gold caravan online however it was clean and didn't smell of dog. It was also located in a quiet spot on the park but seemed like a bit of a trek to swimming/venue. Pool was good. Outside pool isn't actually an outside pool it's covered with glass doors and roof but they have chairs on the outside to look in. The beach is in small little sections of sand with rocks inbetween so if the tide is in u can't really get to much of it. The holiday park only really has 2 beach access points that we could find otherwise it's a bit of a drop. Overall a good holiday park but we just prefer Seashore or Caister as it's a bit small and more beach.
