National 18ft Class Nationals Event 1 - 7 August
Watch the thrilling National sailing competition at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy.
Footie Fever 2 August
Weymouth Beach. 10 am to 4 pm. Watch local youth football teams battle against each other on the sands, whilst at the same time raising funds for Weymouth Diamonds FC.
Fossils at Pirates Cove 2 August
Meet 10.30 am Camp Rd (near the Bridging Camp). As the tide falls leaving the Fleet foreshore exposed, now is the perfect time for all the family to explore the seabed for fossils. Adults £3 and Children £2.
International Fireworks and Entertainment
No summer season in Weymouth would be complete without a series of spectacular firework evenings. Sure to attract big crowds enjoying an evening of live music provided by local bands, an abundance of seafront attractions, competitions and of course those magnificent International Fireworks at 9.30 pm. The Dragons and Damsels of Radipole Lake 4 August
Family Event : 10 am to 3 pm. Go pond dipping, searching for the dragons of the deep and the damsels in distress and a whole lot of bugs besides.
Bustinskin Aquathlon Series 5 August
Bowleaze Cove. 7 pm to 9 pm. A series of aquathlon races through the summer months aimed at the novice to the experienced multi sporters.
Easton Summer Fete in Easton Gardens, Portland 8 August
40’s themed garden party and fancy dress with Weymouth Concert Brass Band performing music of the era. With a great selection of craft, games and display stalls it is bound to be a great day out. 10 am to 4 pm.
Mad about moths 8 August

Low Tide Walk at Ferrybridge 8 August
Meet 2.30 pm at Chesil Beach Centre. Join us on a walk around the shore of the Fleet, looking at the underwater life exposed at low tide. See anemones, sea squirts, crabs and much more with the local guide. Adults £3 and Children £2.
Military Festival – Nothe Fort 8 & 9 August
Colourful multi period military festival involving reenactors from the Nothe Fort Artillery Volunteers, the Fort Cumberland Guard and the Royal Sussex Living History Group. Live firing displays with cannons, muskets and rifles as well as marching, drilling etc.
The real stars of the night 12 August

Everything from traditional fun & games on the beach, Stalls, Grand Parade, Fireworks Display. Also aeriel displays including the world famous Red Arrows, London Fire Brigade Parachute Team, Wing Walkers, The Blades and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire.
