Haven - Britain's favourite caravan holiday parks

Haven notes growing trend of grand travel

With families facing ever more pressure on their time, Haven Holidays has noticed a big increase in Grand Travel – grandparents taking their grandchildren away on holidays. Haven says almost one in five Spring breaks at its 35 caravan Parks are grandparents giving their grandchildren a treat.

Tiny Mites Music is just one of lots of fun activities for toddlers on offer in Haven’s kids’ clubs. Annabel’s Creative Kitchen takes place on all Haven Parks throughout the year and is a great way to introduce your little ones to cookie and cake decorating – whilst letting someone else deal with the mess! This exclusive activity, that includes healthy food fun as well, has been created by top children’s chef Annabel Karmel.

Wake and Shake gets the day started with early morning exercise, using lots of lively games and brightly coloured equipment that will tempt kids to join in and burn off their energy. And this year Learn2Swim lessons on Haven Parks are free of charge too, with special sessions for parents and babies.

Little kids will love all the games, music, dancing and creative play available every day at Little Cubs club. “We welcome families with younger children,” say Haven. “We make sure all our Parks have baby-changing areas, buggy friendly access, high-chairs and baby menus readily available in restaurants and baby equipment available to hire to keep packing to a minimum. But most importantly kids are genuinely welcome in all our venues so families can enjoy time together.”

Haven Holidays was the runner up in Tommy’s Parent Friendly Awards in the Best UK Holiday Provider Category announced on Friday 19th March 2010. Haven say, “We’re thrilled that parents appreciate all the parent friendly facilities and activities for the families staying on our Parks.”
