Our adapted holiday homes make it easy for everyone to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing break by the seaside

Everybody is welcome at Haven, and for our guests with disabilities we’ll do everything we can to make sure you have an enjoyable stay with us. We have two different types of holiday home available for guests with limited accessibility, both of which include a TV, microwave and fridge, gas fire in the lounge, sliding internal doors and a trapeze lift handle*.

Since all disabilities vary from person to person, we've got a team of advisors ready to help you choose which park and caravan would best suit your needs, as well as providing all the details about the terrain on our parks and access to our facilities and beaches. We’re also pleased to welcome Registered Assistance Dogs in all of our adapted caravans.

Type 1 – for guests with moderate accessibility issues

These units include:
  • Ramp access to the door
  • Either double bed or twin single in the main bedroom
  • Twin singles in the second bedroom
  • Shower area has outward opening double doors with an entry lip to retain the water
  • Some lowered units in the kitchen
  • Parking next to the caravan

Type 2 – for guests with very limited mobility or wheelchair dependant

These units include:
  • Ramp access to front door (wider doors)
  • Wet room with seating in shower
  • Hand rails and sliding doors throughout
  • Main bedroom: 3ft twin beds with wheelchair access between beds
  • Second bedroom: 2'6" beds, the small gap between the beds is not suitable for wheelchair access
  • Parking next to the caravan

Accommodation Guarantee

It’s very important to us that you’re happy with your accommodation. We’re so sure of the quality of our holiday homes that we offer all our guests our Accommodation Guarantee. If for any reason you’re unhappy with your accommodation, please let us know straight away so we can try to put things right. If you feel we’ve been unable to do so and you choose to go home on the first day of your holiday, we’ll give you a full refund.
