We can’t promise it won’t rain in Sussex. But we can say quite truthfully that is has more sunshine – and less rainfall – than most parts of the UK. This means beach-time, fresh air – and lashings of factor 50. Which is all good because you’ll want to be outside a lot in this corner of England. We have two holiday parks with static caravans for sale in Sussex – one east, one west.
Haven Church Farm is our park in West Sussex. Named after the 800-year-old nearby church, it’s a great spot to buy a holiday home. You might even be able to spot the church steeple from your own static caravan. This area is full of tidal inlets.
There’s Pagham Harbour on one side of the park and a freshwater lagoon on the other. And with the sea just a short stroll away, you get the feeling that you’re hiding away on your own peaceful island, surrounded by water.
Look out for rare seabirds and other wildlife in these beautiful waterways. Take a stroll into the lush green farmland. Or drive to the South Downs National Park. You’re bound to find some favourite spots of your own.
To the east, just outside Hastings, you’ll find our other Sussex holiday park. Combe Haven sits on a grassy hilltop overlooking the English Channel. Head into Hastings itself and have some good old-fashioned seaside fun, or take a look at some other sites nearby including:
People have been coming on holiday to Sussex for hundreds of years. The Victorians loved this part of the world. They built railways, piers and promenades. And they developed the traditional British seaside resort.
But it’s not all Victoriana. The beaches in Sussex are fascinating. Most of them are covered in pebbles or shingle. You’ll often spot the odd beachcomber dragging in a piece of driftwood. Or a group of children practicing their skimming. Windsurfers and dingy sailors also flock to this part of the world. So you might want to try a new watersport.
Both our parks are peaceful and friendly places. You’ll be able to sit and watch the children and grandchildren run wild in a happy, safe environment. And with sports courts and swimming pools inside our holiday parks, you can spend day after happy day without going anywhere. It’s up to you.
Owners’ facilities, nature reserve, shingle beach – there’s loads for the whole family in West Sussex. Spend day after happy day in the great outdoors then retreat to your own caravan holiday home at Haven Church Farm.
Just an hour from London, but in a lovely green park near Hastings, Combe Haven has a bit of everything. With green fields and action-packed facilities, East Sussex is a great place to have your own static caravan.
