We have fishing lakes in Essex, Kent, Lincolnshire, Scotland, Somerset and Yorkshire, so you'll be spoilt for choice.

    Types of fish you can catch

    Whether you enjoy freshwater fishing or coarse fishing we have well stocked lakes ready for you as soon as you arrive.

    Here are the types of fish you can catch at each park:

    Freshwater fishing lakes:

    • Blue Dolphin: carp, roach and tench.

    Coarse fishing lakes:

    • Allhallows: bream, carp, perch and tench.
    • Burnham-on-Sea: bream, carp, perch, roach and rudd.
    • Golden Sands: bream, mirror carp, perch, roach, rudd and tench.
    • Primrose Valley: carp, pike, roach and tench.
    • Thorpe Park: bream, common carp, golden rudd, mirror carp, perch, roach, rudd and tench.
    • The Orchards: carp, crucian carp (larger carp has been caught, up to 30lb) perch, roach, rudd and tench.
    • Seton Sands: carp and tench

    Fishing lakes at our Haven holiday parks

    We are lucky enough to boast having 2 lakes at our Burnham, Golden Sands, Thorpe Park and The Orchards holiday parks. Thorpe Park's lakes even stretch to 1 acre in size! So, whether you are a beginner and would like a smaller spot to fish or a keen angler who thrives in a large lake then we have you covered. Costs vary per park. Don't forget to pack a lunch and you can even bring the kids too, if they're aged 5 and over.

    Things you should know:

    • Age: 5+ ages
    • Parks: Allhallows, Blue Dolphin, Burnham-on-Sea, Golden Sands, The Orchards, Primrose Valley, Seton Sands and Thorpe Park.
    • Restrictions: Children must be accompanied by an adult and a current rod licence is required for over 12's.

    How much will it cost?

    Have you got your rod and bait ready to fish? Perfect, then you're ready to go. If not, then we have fishing equipment available to hire at most parks.


    • Blue Dolphin: 1 day (adults) - £6, 1 day (under 14's) - £4
    • Primrose Valley: 1 day - £5, 1 day (concession) - £2.50, 7 days - £20, 7 days (concession) - £10
    • Thorpe Park: 1 day - £7, 7 days - £15
    • Golden Sands: 1 day - £5, 7 days - £20
    • The Orchards: 1 day - £8, 3 days - £20, 4 days - £25, 7 days - £35 1 day (family of 4) - £25
    • Allhallows:1 day - £6.50, 3-4 days - £17, 7 days - £25
    • Burnham-on-Sea: 1 day - £10, 3 days - £18, 7 days - £25
    • Seton Sands: 1 day - £8, 3 days - £20, 4 days - £25, 7 days - £35, 1 day (family of 4) -£25
