Sandbanks Beach has a reputation as one of the best beaches on the South Coast of England. Enjoy the sandy beach or explore the small penninsula where you will find some of the most expensive houses in the country. The popular sandy beach stretching over five kilometres from the tip of Sandbanks Spit to merge with the beaches of Bournemouth. A trip to Sandbanks beach will be fun for all the family with activites such as Windsurfing; sailing and fishing. There are several windsurfing and sailing schools; a putting green; Crazy golf and a variety of children's amusements. The three mile Evening Hill Discovery Trail runs adjacent to the beach. There is a pedestrian ferry to Brownsea Island where tern colonies and lagoons can be seen. The beach is cleaned daily. Dogs only allowed in restricted areas. There are a number of car parks adjacent to the beach in which a charge will apply. Blue flag beach. MCS recommended for excellent water quality. European designated bathing water.
