Holidaymakers choosing to stay in the UK this year are being warned to make sure they have their holiday reserved in advance as Britain prepares for an invasion of extra tourists from overseas.

Overseas holidaymakers are up 50% at some Parks

Haven Holidays, Britain's leading operator of family holiday Parks says 'Bookings from our overseas holidaymakers are up 50% at some Parks compared to last year. We've seen a significant rise in visitors from Ireland across a number of Welsh Parks with Hafan y Môr and Presthaven Sands proving especially popular. This year it seems our Dutch holidaymakers are heading towards Blue Dolphin on the North Yorkshire coast - perhaps it's the rugged coastline and nearby Yorkshire Moors that are attracting them. Burnham-on-Sea n Somerset is also top of the pops with the Dutch!


Overseas visitors - often opt for the especially our premium accommodation and whilst their school holiday dates tend to be a little earlier than UK Holidays the prime weeks in August are always popular.'
