Haven Holidays are giving away Solar UV watches with all new bookings for the summer holidays as the Met office forecasts above average temperatures during July and August.

Haven Holidays have reported a significant increase in the number of families booking short breaks this summer. “Whilst bookings are extremely positive for longer holidays over the peak summer holiday period, this year we have had more than double the number of short breaks booked in July and August compared to 2008,” said a spokesperson for the brand.

Haven are seeing dramatic increases in the number of people buying a Holiday Home on their Parks – in some cases up 100% compared to 2008!

As Britain enjoys the hottest May in eight years even more families are voting for a holiday in the UK. Haven Holidays are reporting an increase of 30% in bookings for the West Country and West Wales over the last weekend.
