See our standard booking patterns

Our standard booking patterns are:

  • Arrive on a Monday for 4, 7 and 14 night breaks
  • Arrive on a Friday for 3, 7, 10 and 14 night breaks
  • Arrive on a Saturday for 7 and 14 night breaks
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday are non-arrival days

Our holiday season runs between March and November and therefore we cannot take bookings for holidays which fall outside of these dates.

The British Travel Awards 2012

Haven Holidays has been named in the British Travel Awards 2012 as the winner of Best UK Holiday Park Operator and Best Large Camping and mobile Tour Operator. Companies were nominated by the public and then voted by consumers in what has been the largest awards programme in the UK this year. The BTAs were created to reward the best companies in travel and are recognised by consumers and travel professionals throughout the UK. With categories spanning 75 types of holiday experience - The British Travel Awards is quite simply the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business.

Haven holidays have 35 holiday parks all around the UK coastline and a head office in Hemel Hempstead. They employ 6000 permanent team members but also another 9000 seasonal team members including; gardeners, cleaners, maintenance, security, reception, shop assistants and of course entertainers.

Tim Gibson said “Everyone has a very important part to play in delivering the holiday experience and we are delighted the team have been recognised yet again by the travel industry. This is the sixth award we have won this year.”

British Travel Awards’ chief executive Lorraine Barnes Burton said: “This year more than one million votes were cast by consumers to determine the winners of the coveted British Travel Awards. The Awards were created to reward travel companies, with the winning accolade being the benchmark for excellence when it comes to finding out who really is the best in the business of travel for the UK consumer. Haven Holidays is to be congratulated on their achievement.”

Travolution Awards 2012 winner

Travolution is the UK’s leading multi-media brand for the online travel industry focusing on innovation and digital strategy. We entered Haven.com for the award earlier in the year and we were up against some major brands within the Travel Industry. We were then short listed and given the opportunity to pitch in front of 3 judges. We successfully got through to the final 3 with 2 other amazing travel websites... and on the night WE WON!

Alison Dunn, head of e-commerce said “We are absolutely delighted to be recognized in these awards by Travolution who are the UK’s leading multi-media brand for the online travel industry. We’ve worked hard to create a compelling online experience for visitors to the site and from an end users perspective we have designed it to be intuitive, informative and simple to use. We know that our interactive search features are extremely popular, guests are helped to choose which of the 35 parks would be most suitable for them and which are available, they can even explore inside each room in the accommodation.”

Customer Service Training Awards Winner 2012

We are so proud that our new team training programme has won this Customer Service Award. We believe that at Haven our staff should receive the best training, which is why this year we have introduced our 'Breath of Fresh Air' programme across the business. We have a team of dedicated pioneers who regularly conduct training sessions to ensure that all our staff are able to give our customers the best service possible.

Travel Bulletin Star Awards 2009

Hot on the heels of our success at the TOP 50 Call Centre Awards for customer service – Haven has won another prestigious award. Our Travel Agent partners have voted Haven Holidays as their, Travel Bulletin Awards – Best UK Holiday Park Operator for 2009. Other operators in this category included Pontins and Hoseasons.

This is the forth consecutive year we have won this award and is testament to the sales and service experience Travel Agents receive via our fabulous internet site, award winning call centre and the experience their customers enjoy while guests on our Holiday Parks.

Receiving recognition and status within travel is important to us and we are delighted to have won the Travel Bulletin Star UK Operator 2009.

Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards

Haven are the runner-up of the 2010 Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards.
The Tommy's Parent Friendly Awards recognise organisations that provide higher levels of service to parents and are voted by parents for parents each year. Tommy's, the baby charity has been running the Parent Friendly Awards since 1995 and have become a driving force for change and improvement in services for parents with young children.

David Bellamy Awards

Congratulations to Haven for attaining 33 Gold Conservation Awards - and especially to the eight Parks who have now also achieved the Excellence Award for flying the golden flag for five consecutive years - this means that a staggering 17 Haven Parks hold Excellence Awards - fantastic! It proves that millions of happy holiday makers can't be wrong. My thanks to all the Green Teams on the Parks and to all those holidaymakers who have sent me thousands of postcards over the years giving me green feedback on their holidays

Rose Awards

The Rose Awards are given to high quality Caravan Parks that provide a good proportion of first class holiday caravans for hire. Not all our Parks participate in the scheme – but we are delighted to boast numerous Rose Awards in addition to other awards for excellence

Haven: Investors in People

We believe that however exceptional we make our facilities and accommodation, it is the Team Members who work on our Parks that make the real difference when you are on holiday.

All our Team Members undergo regular training to enhance your experience and to add value to their personal development. 19 of our Parks have achieved Investors in People awards in recognition of our training. UK Tourism Awards

The more stars from one to five awarded to a Park by the Tourism Council - the higher the level of quality and facilities you can expect.

Over the past five years, twelve parks have improved their Tourist Board rating, making eight 5 - Star and twenty four 4 - Star parks.

This accolade is a measure of our aim to provide the best possible environment and holiday experience for our customers.

Bourne Leisure named Britain’s second best big company to work for

The parent company of Haven Holidays – Bourne Leisure – has been named as the second best big company in Britain to work for. The company, which is one of the biggest employers in Hemel Hempstead, jumped 13 places in the rankings to achieve the number 2 spot in the prestigious Sunday Times rankings.

Financial services companies dominated the top 20, with the giant KPMG in first place, which meant that Bourne Leisure was the highest ranked leisure and hospitality company to be listed.

The Haven Holidays parent, which also includes the Butlins and Warner Leisure Hotels brands was also named as the most improved company in the list.

Prima Baby Best Value Awards

Haven have WON the "BEST VALUE" award in the Family Friendly category of the Prima Baby Readers Awards in 2009 and in 2010.

Top 50 Call Centres for Customer Service

Haven won Best Call Centre Award for Customer Care in the Entertainment, Leisure and Travel Sector as well as 7th best Call Centre in the UK across all sectors and Most Improved Member. It was a fantastic achievement to be recognised in the Top 50 call centres for customer service and a credit to all of the hotline team. With our continued focus and commitment to customer delivery.

Green Tourism Award

17 of our Parks have achieved the coveted Green Tourism Business Scheme Award for business efficiency, environmental management, waste, transport management, social responsibility and biodiversity for 2010. Including the highly prestigious Gold Awards at Perran Sands, Quay West and Greenacres.
