From the North & North West At Chester, pick up the A55 and A5. Join A487 to Caernarfon, then A499 to Pwllheli. Then A497 to Pothmadog. The park is on the right, approximately 3 miles out of Pwllheli.

From the Midlands & the South M54 to Telford, A5 past Oswestry and Llangollen. Take A494 to Bala. In Bala turn right for Porthmadog. Turn left at the roundabout in Porthmadog, signposted Criccieth and Pwllheli. The park is on the left, 3 miles out of Criccieth.

If programming your SAT NAV device, please use postcode: LL53 6HJ. This will guide you directly to Hafan y Môr where you will be able to follow the signs for directions to the park. You can also use Google naps for a door to door route planner.

We recommend you use a road map or route planner in conjunction with your Sat Nav, as not all systems recognise our postcode.

The nearest train and bus station is located in Pwllheli, which is about 4 miles from the park. To plan your train journey to and from Hafan y Mor, please search using the official National Rail Enquiries online planner and timetable. Alternatively, call National Rail Enquiries helpline on 0845 748 4950.

There is also Pen-y-chain train station outside the park, however this is a request stop only and is a 15-20 minute walk to the park down a lane with no vehicle access for taxis, therefore we recommend travelling into Pwllheli.

Haven has negotiated a 10% discount with National Express, please call 0871 781 8181 for details to plan your journey by coach. Open 7 days a week 8am - 8pm. Payment can be made by credit or debit card - please allow 4 working days for tickets to arrive. Drop off points must be checked with National Express.

Most of the park is flat with a few hilly areas. Llyn Village, Snowdonia View, Cambrian Park, Calder Idris, Tryfan, Parklands, Lakeside and Cardigan Bay are the most suitable areas for wheelchair users and guests with walking difficulties. Requests can be made at the time of the booking, however cannot be guaranteed.
