Who will switch on the 2012 Blackpool Illuminations?

Over 15,000 people are expected to enjoy Blackpool’s biggest night of the year - The Big Switch On Show will be on the promenade on the newly completed Tower Headland, with thousands more flooding into the resort to see the award-winning Blackpool Illuminations switch on. Last year, Robbie Williams, one of the biggest stars in the country, had the honour of switching on the famous lights. The entertainment-packed event also featured singing sensation Alesha Dixon along with a host of other big names.
